most interesting goodbye I’ve heard is someone going to sleep and telling me that they look forward to seeing me tomorrow. And like,, that’s a beautiful way of looking at it, leaving today behind isn’t a loss, it’s anticipation for tomorrow. A goodbye isn’t so much sad for leaving you, it’s excitement at being able to see you the next time.

hardest thing to learn during recovery is….. some of your misery is your own fault. you have to actively choose to stop wallowing in your own pain & start to recover. that means stop being self deprecating, start taking care of yourself, start eating healthy, start taking your hygiene seriously, even if it’s hard. & it is hard! but you must.

Little Things To Reset For The New Year

Get a (new) planner/bullet journal/notebook for to-do’s to help keep organised 

Take time to do a social media clean up (’rebrand’ your image, unfollow accounts that don’t inspire you/make you feel happy) 

Deep clean your spaces

Go through your clothes, beauty/hygiene products, books, papers etc and throw out/donate the things you don’t need, wear, or use.

Give your spaces a mini makeover by adding artwork or one or two pieces of decor 

Give yourself a pamper day

Clean out your email(s)

Back up your devices and delete apps and files you no longer need or use. 

Create a bucket list

Set a few goals for the new years (Refill water bottle 3 times a day, travel somewhere new every season, learn a new language etc) 

Reflect on how the year was and what you hope for in the new year
