I like headcanoning that Taissa was jealous that Jackie got to be captain so a situation like shaunanat would be tasty.

Also if Taissa did get rid of Hannah it could play into how Melissa is afraid of her in season 4.

ok this has been in my drafts for a while but this is why I think we should have AQ Tai in season 4/why it should've been her in the first place. (For this to work say the wilderness is supernatural)

So first of all, she was the first character we see capable of violence (precrash). While she didn't mean to harm Allie, ultimately she wasn't too apologetic about it. The wilderness loves violence, it rewards it. It keeps Tai alive and because Van is close to her, it saves her too.

Taissa being antler queen would also be a good parallel to her role as senator (?) in the adult timeline. Tai clearly has power and influence. (shown in both tls) With the votes in both season 1 & 3 (vote on the lake and ben's trial) I think it would be/would've been cool to see this as her being antler queen.

I think her budding heads with Jackie could also parallel shaunanat. They want different things but they go about it differently. jackienat are more calm with their influence, and while yes the team listens, taishauna have a stronger presence and ultimately the team will go along with them even when its not what they want. Now something tainat have in common is their genuine care and love for the team. The see all sides (unlike jackieshauna) and try to fix things. They both want whats best for the team. Yeah I think it would've been cool to see AQ Tai sooner, I think the power will shift from Shauna to Taissa in season 4. She will take the roll of fixing things and getting their stories straight before rescue. But she will still have the violent spirit- killing off any yjs she think will talk. Also this is sorta messy so if anyone wants to reblog and reword/add on be my guest!!

Jackie and Lottie’s families running in the same circles so much that Lottie’s dad makes jokes that if only Jackie was a boy so that Lottie could marry him and their families would be united in marriage.

Some years later Jackie and Lottie getting married irregardless.

in terms of yellowjackets bestfriendism theres the classic vannat childhood friends hc that i adore & feel makes so much sense, and my other fav friendship is taishauna, which i totally like to imagine as smth that started in high school and thru being on a team together they gained this mutual respect for each other that blossomed into real care and tenderness between them. but i never see ppl talk abt jackielot as a friendship, which i think makes a lot of sense and i def can imagine them going to like country club events or whatever with the matthews and the taylors, and these two becoming closer thru those imposed social events. i can see the taylors thinking lottie is much better company for jackie to keep than shauna and kind of having a hand in making sure they hang out together. but they actually do hit it off! and have similar taste in fashion and gossip mags or whatever. and with them both having access to money that the other girls dont, they would totally be able to go on all sorts of trips and adventures together and maybe shauna resents lottie a little bit bc of that. ugh jackielot friendship is real and canon to me.
