 A silly comment came to mind. One he couldn’t leave be. Ann’s hands were taken in Minato’s own and he used his thumb to softly rub them.

 “So, you know that between today and tomorrow the paparazzi are going to have a field day right?” He whispered. “It’s going to be chaotic, but fun most likely. I can’t wait to see what madness unfolds since I could happily face it alongside you.”

          “ For my dessert I plan on the Red Velvet! It sounds sooo good. Also

             I hope you like cappuccino, because me being indecisive decided to

            go for that. “

   A big smile spread across her lips as he took her hands in his. Even more so

   as he made his statement, which was entirely true.

          “ Should we really give the media a lot of fun, mmm? “

   So. She was in a relationship now. With her photographer. Oh boy. 

   Well, she was on this track. She was… Happy. Very happy. At least

   picking at the meal had been easy.  Shrimp Scampi with a cappuccino.

   For dessert? Ultimate red velvet cheesecake. MmmHmm! She folded

   her menu shut, now peaking glances at him.

The more Minato scanned through the menu the more he was sure of what he wanted save for a drink. Thus he’d decided to order whatever Ann was going to get to drink. As he folded the menu shut though he ended locking eyes with her which prompted a smile.

 “I’m sorry to keep you waiting, I was having a little trouble deciding. What will you be getting? I’ve decided on the Factory Burger. I tried to stay away from them, but I can’t.” 

          “ O-Oh, you didn’t really. I-I enjoyed getting to look around. “

   A tiny lie. She had been looking mostly at him, but he didn’t need to 

   know that. She swallowed hard, getting herself together, before stating

   what she had decided on ordering.

          “ I had thought about ordering a burger as well, but I refrained. I should

           try new things. “

Minato decided to drop it for the moment. At least long enough to sit down and take a look at the menu himself. Here and there he’d glance up at Ann and watch her as she scanned the menu. A smile was ever present on his face.

 “I love you too.” Minato finally replied. “I won’t forget you said it. I’d planned to either confess tonight or tomorrow after all.”

 He figured it was best to let the cat out of the bag at this point. She’d gone and blurted such honest feelings in response to his comment about not being mistaken. It was only fair for Ann to know the full truth of his plans at this poing.
