I appreciate how AMAB Kris looks a bit more serial killer-y than Harem Protagonist
Really adds
What if amab Kris and Afab Kris met

A comm requested by someone over Gmail… just wanted some Freeform ralsus. Both incredibly helpful and also indulgent. Thank you so much! Isn’t it wack how he can just float now?

"Remember to buy tampons today on the way home, my child. You start your period tomorrow and it'd be awful for you to go without again."
"Mom that was years ago."
"You're mother knows best, Kris, go get some Tampons" *Click*
Noelle would also know Kris’s cycle but it'd be because Toriel needs her as a "backup" because Kris "Gets really embarrassed about this so if you'd be there to support them."
Meanwhile, since Bleeding Susie is true she probably also has periods so they probably bond over how "Metal it is that we get to bleed every month, guaranteed."
Would explain why Susie knows how to clean up Blood Stains
I used to like to headcanon Kris as female because I liked how it reinforced their feeling of alienation being the only human in a monster world. Like every month they get a unpleasant reminder that they're made of blood and they have to deal with the mess it makes and no one else knows what that's like etc.
Now that we've seen Susie bleed it's not the same. But I still like to headcanon Kris as female because I have to bring balance to this male Kris headcanoning world (also cause I'm projecting)
I actually think the blood is suggesting Susie has human genetics in her, and she is mirroring Kris in being raised as a “monster” (truly a hybrid) in a human world.
Funny, before 3&4 I would find that hypothesis ridiculous and far fetched, but I think that is why it’s given so much importance that she has blood. After all, we have the bunny monster asking Kris what it feels like to be made of blood, and when Susie sees Gerson’s funerary urn she reacts in a way that is too extreme if it were just cremated ashes, more like if she saw Alvin keeping his father’s dead body, which would be deeply off putting in a way an urn of ashes isn’t. We are told that monster funerals still involve their dust being spread over a special item and I find it very odd that, if it were just cremation, they use the word “dust” and not just “ashes”.
And she calls herself a medical enigma, saying doctors wouldn’t know what to do with her— makes no sense if she is a monster in a town full of them but makes sense if she is neither completely human nor completely monster.
So basically all of what youre saying here holds up; and the reveal of the blood would simply be a point of relatability and connection for Kris— meeting someone that bleeds just like them, they’re now less alone.
I find the whole “kris navigating periods” thing to be a fascinating speculative point of contention as they grow up and feel even more uneasy in their humanity. Especially because I think toriel would be patient about it and enthusiastic to help to an almost cringey degree lol

Toriel tracking Kris’s cycles to surprise them with Pie and Chocolate on Period Day
Little creepy but it's their mom she was gonna know anyways

Will leave this untagged
But as the guy who has done so much of the heavy lifting to get you on the Antagonist Noelle Train
Im doing the happy flips having you as a propaganda arm lol
Can I also say how your takes on antagonist Noelle actually made me like her more? Beforehand I was very weary of her because of how the majority of fandom saw her going forward. Mainly with how they want her to become a permanent party member for the remainder of the game and replace Ralsei (who either dies or some other BS happens to him)
All I can think of if is - why the fuck would Toby do that? Why would Toby throw in the bin one of the main characters of the game, a character who's FAR, FAAR from concluding their character arc and role is constantly reaffirmed (THE THIRD HERO, THE PRINCE, ALONE IN DEEPEST DARK)
and then the idea that Noelle will become the game's antagonist and it works SO WELL writting wise. Ralsei stays in the party, Noelle becomes an important part of the narrative. Both of them get to breathe, have their moments, express themselves and play roles in the story without neither forcing the other out.
Well, Toby wouldn’t do that, he has been consistently framing Noelle as the Angel since chapter 2 (even before maybe? Isnt the Angel doll from chapter 1?) it’s just that people can’t read, wont read, or decide to pretend they didn’t read what is there 😅 it would be very strange to set all of that up only to not follow through with it.
I admire your passion for being against ralsei erasure cause he’s my second fave after Susie and I find him compelling in a mirrored way to how I do the light world kids, he’s a young guy who is in many ways living the ultimate escapist fantasy, to be a chosen one meant to stand against a world ending evil… and he doesn’t want any of it because that is his Mundane, and the Mundane of the other cast members is extraodinary to him, and his own mundane is incredibly stressful and terrifying. It’s a very neat little reinforcement of the theme

Given what you've said prior of Noelle 'angeling' out, do you think Kriselle could still occur (Or at all) in the context of the game? Or do you think Deltarune will take a more open-ended/undefined type of stance on the romantic relationship of the characters.
Inside the game definitely no :D the way i see it with what I’d assume would be endgame is no confirmed relationships but just the insinuation of what has the potential to happen Later On, after you are untethered from Kris and the characters move on with their lives. I think the game may be the process by which Kris and Noelle are cleansed from the awkward stalemate they are in right now where they clearly care about and miss each other a lot, but there’s so much unresolved baggage that they can never progress past it.
You know how Gerson says in chapter 1 the heroes “defeat the dragon” but it was a slight of the word where what it means is that Susie is relieved for the first time in the narrative of the expectation of being a standoffish dickhead? I think the “banishment” of the Angel and the Angel’s heaven is going to be a cathartic moment where Noelle, the most escapist character in the cast, is pushed past a threshold of despair, embodies this archetype in a desperate attempt to escape a life she hates, and then Noelle, the girl, has to be freed from The Angel brought out of her by that despair, in the sense that she has to be “snapped out” of her desperate escapism and appreciate the “real world”.
After all, there is a mirroring here. Kris and Susie, the lighners, want to escape lives they feel entrap them through the Dark World, and Ralsei, who is a Darkner, craves the Reality of mundane connections.
So, what I think would be a thematically fulfilling ending for Kris and Noelle is that Noelle’s Angeling forces them to contend with all the unconfronted stuff under the surface and all that resolved and Kris untethered from the player, they have the opportunity to reconnect and start anew, which is what both of them seem to crave. Open ended, but with the seed of something planted.
(I still think nole has to hit a psych though LOL)

assuming Suselle is actually the canon endgame couple (in the normal route anyways), do you have any idea as to how it could be made more interesting to you? maybe some kind of twist added to their dynamic or in the story?
I just do not think it is possible to pull off all that needs to happen in 3 chapters and am not especially interested on speculating a rewrite for a pair that has such an irritating fanbase. Step one is that Noelle needs a number of years in therapy for one (also true of kriselle, but Noelle does not put kris on a pedestal in the same manner because they have years of prior shared experiences— nonetheless i still don’t think they’re quite ready to be in a relationship with things the way they are in canon presently). And with that we are already lost so my answer is gonna be No i dont think there is a way to make it work without scrapping a lot of parts of Noelle’s character

Not to mention how they both will kill something for the other.
Noelle trusts Kris with her life so much that she will Kill
And Kris wants to protect Noelle so much that they will Kill *themself* just to protect her
They make me crazy, your honor.
Kriselle is genuinely the ship ever. They're childhood friends, they're estranged, they're the only ones who know the other fully, they can tell something is wrong with other by slightest change of voice, they don't know what are they to each other anymore, their families parallel each other, they are the ones they speak with the moment they're free.
