I have come to understand that this is an egg sac. Most of the new members of my cluster have hatched. They are much larger than any arachnid I have seen before. My own metamorphosis is close to its completion.

The soup was quite good. Sadly, I lost strength while eating it and spilled about half of it :(. I am very sorry.

Apologies for not being active lately, I have been struck by consumption, and the vast majority of even slightly strenuous activities cause me to faint. Thankfully, my dearest cluster has become quite capable hunters of large game, and the half liquid mush is much easier to eat than solid foods.
