Likeeee Cregan is too broad, too tall to be an omega but he can’t help it!!! His Northern genes are meant to survive winter!!! His late father, Rickon Stark, trained him like a warrior despite his presentation. Any flutter of softness has been stomped out of him. He’s doomed to unmated.

But King Jacaerys, although bore barely any resemblance to his Targaryen predecessors, inherited their … unusual tastes. An alpha king befits an omega queen, the maesters advised. Instead, bethrothed to his sister-cousin in their youth, he insisted on marriage despite both presenting as Alphas, and enjoy a happy marriage. Half of Westeros expected their families to call off the arrangement after Baela’s presentation and start another course of war.

All is well, until they need an heir. And to bear an heir, is through an omega. Cregan, lucky (or unlucky) for him, finds himself being courted by two fiery insatiable alphas.

—keeping a collection of basic OTC medicine on you will save your life one day. I recommend Advil, Imodium, and TUMS.

—those little single-use glasses cleaning wipes are 1000% worth the money

—overly self-depreciating jokes just make people uncomfortable, wean yourself off of them

—you can buy dehydrated mini marshmallows in bulk online and they’re a godsend for hot cocoa

—people don’t care if you have fidget toys on your desk they just want to play with them

—try to go to bed BEFORE the existential ennui kicks in

hear me out: modern AU Older!Rhaenyra x Younger!Harwin

Earnest, hardworking country-boy Harwin moves to the city for better job opportunities. He’s got an engineering degree and a dream (and also a shit ton of student loans to pay off) so he settles for a barista gig until one of his dream companies have vacancies.

Cue Targaryen Aviation heiress, Rhaenyra, whose interest got piqued by the new barista at her favourite cafe. It’s obvious he likes her but he has never made a move. His gaze lingers, he smiles brighter around her but nothing else.

It is only when Rhaenyra rushes in minutes before closing, teary-eyed and unsettled, half-demanding for her usual that Harwin approaches her. He’s mad at first, ‘cause we’re closing here, but seeing the usually flawless and composed Rhaenyra being close to tears makes him hesitate, and extends kindness. He gets her coffee and heats up a chocolate muffin on his tab (even though he’s down to his last 5 bucks). Sheepishly he tells her he’ll need to clean up while she drinks or else his boss gets mad. They get to know each other while he closes up and the rest is history.
