The Entangler... I’ve been filling my first doepfer LC6 case around an ES-3 to control my modules from max/msp. In this way I can design the ‘modulation narrative’ on my mac. Also, I want to do the signalprocessing in Live, which is very important to me. All the sounds end up in a Mutable Instruments Clouds that is heavily modulated. I am now at a point where I sold my Scarlett 18i20 and am waiting for an ES-8 to make my max to modular dream complete. The sounds coming out of my system now are noisy, dark and experimental. I quite like this, it is sometimes gritty, harsh and unexpected. Although I want to move to a more ambient sound by incorporating harmonies and field recordings from Live. This is hard now, since sequencing is not possible at the moment because the ES-8 will ship in 4 weeks time.. Take a look at my rack here and let me know what you think.
