Tw pet (cat) loss/sickness

So a super routine vet visit Friday turned into THAT vet visit, and my baby girl is apparently not long for this world (only 7 years old!!)

Idk if this means I won’t be writing for a bit or I’ll be writing extra to keep myself busy but in case it’s the former that is why ❤️

You’re all nice and my work definitely isn’t popular enough that people will harangue me about not updating, but when I’m following a fic that stalls I wonder why, so.

Baldurs gate not having a ballroom scene where we get to see Wyll in his element was such a mistake. It wouldve been cool maybe if instead that was tied in with finding his father and maybe there was clues or investigations to make with npcs to finding the iron throne

I wish they'd let Wyll be angry, specifically: angry for himself, not just for other people. I wish they'd let him yell at his dad. I wish they'd let the player tell Wyll that it's okay to love your dad but still feel hurt and betrayed by him. Let the guy vent all that pent up negative emotion for goodness sake. Give him a scene or three where Theo Solomon could flex his voice acting skills.

I am UNWELL

You can always tell that people who call Wyll boring never take him out of camp because yes, Wyll’s camp dialogue tends to be more formal (fitting a young noble man who has spent years playing the role of a community hero), but when you take him out and about he actually seems (in my game at least) to be one of the more reactive companions and is always quick with the funny quips and commentary. And he is really funny!

He calls Dror Ragzlin the “gobbo in charge”

He asks you not to open THAT barn door because he doesn’t want to be invited to that wedding….

Referring to Auntie Ethel as an old biddy and warning you to run if she pulls out a pot of oil

These are just some instances I noticed pretty early into Act One, but yeah I really do think he’s an underrated character
