im gonna get eaten up for this but exactly–when we say don’t put all your faith in politicians this is what we mean

when we say black people (and latine and native people) don’t like AOC then idk–stop telling us that we’re boot lickers or whatever,

this is all to say, a lot of people have had great critiques against aoc because of some harmful things she’s done/said and way too many white people have been stepping over black and brown people to defend her
