A short essay on why #movember is particularly important to me this year more than others. Mobro.co/evilno9 My dad had a scare with prostate cancer in 2007 which was my initial motivation to get started with Movember. He kicked it's ass as that is what he has always done, but since then I've participated every year and play my very minor role in supporting a cause that means a lot to me, particularly as Movember has evolved over the years to include mental health in its remit. This year Dad has entered some fairly uncertain territory and is going to need a lot of external support and assistance to once more kick some ass. As someone who has had their own mental battles to work through this only makes this month even more important for me to show my support for him and anyone else who has to go through similar challenges in their lives. It's not much, but I'll continue doing it for Dad as long as it continues to feel important. May the month pass as quickly as my mo grows slowly. via Instagram https://ift.tt/33cKg1X
