It is very clear that the function of grifters like Jordan Peterson is to funnel all the reactionary outrage of disaffected white men back into so-called “respectable” conservatism, where you support capitalism and the system with absolutely zero complaining, without doing anything whatsoever to solve any of the actual problems that created such a large base of disaffected white men in the first place. And I am honestly surprised it is working so well. Like I thought the 4chan folks were at least kind of exciting in a morbidly horrific sort of way. Like Jordan Peterson couldn’t possibly be more self-helpy white bread boring, and alt-right losers that had previously revelled in shock politics and controversy are welcoming him as if he is like their white savior.

Like Jordan Peterson is exactly the kind of “Here in my Gaaaarreaagggee” type of self-help nonsense that the internet normally wholesale rejects, and yet, the contingent of the internet more extremely online than anybody has embraced him as if he is somehow cool and edgy.

If anybody watches Jordan Peterson videos as if they are actually cool and edgy, boy oh boy, don’t tell these people about Dr Phil. Or like, my Dad at Thanksgiving.

Christianity and conservatism are not compatible ideologies. Conservatives, socially, are against refugees, against equality, and fiscally are against social programs and financial aid to those in need.

Jesus demanded they help refugees, demanded equality, and demanded aid to the poor.

To be conservative means to not be Christian, and to claim you are both is to be a hypocrite.

Something Jesus also condemned.

You weren’t.

You weren’t a bad kid, and you didn’t deserve to be hit. Maybe you were a difficult kid, maybe you struggled with boundaries or rules or expectations. Maybe you had bad behavior much of the time. A child can't consent. And yes wanting to dress as a little girl is fucked because the reason you like it Is because that's how little girls dress. I feel so bad for how badly society has failed people like you. Puberty blockers aren't reversible. You're messing with someone's genetic and biological growth.

I used them as an example of failed socialism 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️these things are funded by capitalism, profits go to research which in turn create jobs which in turn provides incentives to do the research, when a vaccine is discovered people can sell it on for a profit and as more and more people can afford it over time the disease decreases in commonality.

There's reasons disease and famine tends to be rampant in socialist countries, it's because this shit doesn't happen, because it's seen as bad to make a profit so nobody will fund it but the government, who can't pay scientists or researchers because they fled to a better country where it isn't seen as evil or anti-state to make money, this is the chief reason socialist countries collapse, they freeze growth and recycle the same resources until they've run out, it happens in every socialist country, and btw Scandinavian countries aren't socialist they rely on capitalist banking systems run by the EU so don't bring them up.
