💎 Running Away from Responsibility

Imām Muhammad Al-Bashīr Al-Ibrāhīmī said: Turning away from marriage is fleeing from the greatest responsibility in life.

The Noble Scholar Shaykh Shaykh 'Abdur-Razzāq Al-Badr حفظه الله stated:

"If the first ten verses of Sūrah Al-Kahf are a protection from the Fitnah of the Dajjāl, then it is even more so a protection for that which is lesser than that Fitnah."

Abud-Dardā رضي الله عنه said:

"Know that a small amount which suffices you is better than a large amount which distracts you. Know that the (acts of) righteousness never wear out and that the sin (committed) is never forgotten (by Allāh)."

"I do not know of anything specific (from worship) that is done upon the entering of Ramadan except that a Muslim should approach it with joy, happiness, delight and gratefulness to Allāh."

'Uthmān bin Abī Al-'Ās Ath-Thaqafī رضي الله عنه use to sit by a grave during funerals and say:

"I see it as a dark, dry, constricted home. There's no food, drink or spouse in it. By Allāh, it is your home."

‏كان ﻋﺜﻤﺎﻥ ﺑﻦ ﺃﺑﻲ اﻟﻌﺎﺹ اﻟﺜﻘﻔﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻨﺎﺯﺓ ﻓﺠﻠﺲ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻗﺒﺮ وقال:

ﺃﺭاﻩ ﺑﻴﺘﺎً ﺿﻴﻘﺎً ﻳﺎﺑﺴﺎ ﻣﻈﻠﻤﺎ ﻟﻴﺲ ﻓﻴﻪ ﻃﻌﺎﻡ ﻭﻻ ﺷﺮاﺏ ﻭﻻ ﺯﻭﺟﺔ،

إنه ﻭاﻟﻠﻪ ﺑﻴﺘﻚ.

"...you are with the prophet ﷺ and his companions May Allah be pleased with them”.

Imam Mohammad Ibn Yousuf Alferabri (student of Imam Bukhari) May Allah bestow mercy upon them both said:

“Imam Bukhari dictated to me one day many hadeeths, and when he feared I may be getting bored he said to me: be happy; as indeed the people who love amusement are busy with their amusement, and the people of industry are busy with their industry, and the merchants are busy with thier business but you are with the prophet ﷺ and his companions May Allah be pleased with them”.

‏💡قال الإمام محمد بن يوسف الفربري (تلميذ الإمام البخاري) رحمهما الله :

"أملى يوماً عليَّ [يعني شيخه البخاري] حديثا كثيرا، فخاف ملالي ، فقال :‏ طب نفسا ، فإن أهل الملاهي في ملاهيهم ، وأهل الصناعة في صناعتهم ، والتجار في تجاراتهم ، وأنت مع النبي ﷺ وأصحابه".

Shaykh Sulaymān Ar-Ruhaylī حفظه الله said:

The part of this world that is cursed is that which turns your attention away from Allāh. It is that which distances you from Allāh. As for that which gets you closer to Allāh, it is exempt."

The more a person magnifies

The Noble Scholar Shaykh 'Abdur-Razzāq Al-Badr حفظه الله stated:

"The more the (person's) faith magnifies the more the (person's) fear (of Allāh) magnifies."

"If the one giving charity knew that his charity falls in the hand of Allāh before the hand of the poor, the delight of the one giving would be more than the delight of the one taking."

The example of the dunyah

Wahb Ibn Munbih:

The example of the dunyah (worldy life) and the hereafter is like the example of a man who has two wives. If he pleases on of them, the other one will be displeased.
