Pixel 6 might get an under-display fingerprint scanner, Android 12 suggests

(Pocket-lint) - An Android 12 beta appears to have leaked a new feature possibly coming to Google's next smartphone.

According to developer kdrag0n, it reportedly includes evidence that Google is planning an under-display fingerprint scanner for the Pixel 6. He noticed a reference to ‘UdfpsControllerGoogle’ in code from the second Android 12 developer preview, which is a beta version of the software for developers. Android 12 is the next major update to Android, but it's not expected until later this year. SARS-CoV-2 UK variant shows low virulence and high shedding in hamster model

The emergence of new strains of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), causing the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, pose a serious potential challenge to attempts at curbing its spread.

McGregor-Guerfi, McKenna-Turarov Get Dates, Donnie Nietes Return Set

D4G Promotions in association with Round 10 Boxing Club and MTK Global have announced three events heading to Dubai in February, March and April.

Skewen flood 'from mine' forces 80 people to be evacuated

A major incident was declared after at least eight streets were left under water in Skewen, Neath Port Talbot.

Emergency services said there were no injuries and all those evacuated had been found accommodation, but people are asked to avoid the area.

More than 30 residents of Cwrt-Clwydi-Gwyn care home were among those moved as a precaution.

Up to 45 firefighters were involved at the scene, along with boats and pumping equipment, and emergency services said they would remain overnight.

In a joint statement the police, fire service and Neath Port Talbot Council said the cause of the flooding was being investigated and "the water level will continue to be monitored".

Deputy chief fire officer Roger Thomas, from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, had said earlier 100 properties were involved.

He added: "First and foremost, our thoughts are with those who have been affected by the events of today.

However, she later appeared in another TikTok video that has lead fans to believe that she has come out as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Shortly after JoJo posted the video, her friend Kent Boyd shared another video starring JoJo. This one was filmed at Pride House LA, a TikTok House set up specifically for LGBTQ+ creators. Not only that but the video features JoJo dancing to Paramore's 'Now You're One of Us' alongside four notable queer TikTok creators, including Kent himself.

Met Eireann issues new immediate weather warning for just one county

Met Eireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for Donegal which came into effect at 11am this morning.

The status yellow rainfall warning will be in place until 9pm this evening.

The forecaster states: "Heavy rainfall will lead to accumulations of up to 30mm, with higher accumulations in mountainous areas. This will bring a risk of some river and localised flooding."

A rainfall warning is already in place for Connacht, Longford, Louth, Westmeath, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan until 9pm.

The national forecast for today reads: "Wet, and breezy today with widespread outbreaks of rain, rain heavy and persistent over the northern half of the country with a risk of localised flooding. Highest temperatures generally of 9 to 11 degrees with a fresh southwest breeze that will be strong on coasts. Colder however over Ulster with highs of just 3 to 6 degrees in a light northeast breeze."

This may seem like a typical “person-wins-a-smell-like-my-vagina-candle-by-completing-an-online-quiz” story. But it wasn’t. No, this story had an unexpected ending that was not exactly beautiful. Nor was it funny, gorgeous, or sexy.
