i mean it's true for all of them, why they see what they do. They all see what they want. It's the most obvious with Jiang Cheng probs, then xichen. Lan Wangji doesn't care so doesn't notice anything at all. Wei Wuxian gets kind of suspicous but is suffering from information overload to the extreme and being led around by the nose a little deliberately.

man we're finally at the point where if I had just gone and got myself referred as soon as I got to uni id finally be seen. we're almost at the point where if id just gone and got myself referred as soon as i actually got signed up for a gp id nearly be getting an appointment. although, ngl. i then decided I hated the gp and would enver go ever again in my life after that so. lol.
anyway GIC wait times. beyond a joke but we all know that. and since I got on 4600 more people (minimum, i was referred early in the month) have been referred behind me.

Another thing about JGY is that he does not actually want to be accepted for who he is. That man is obsessed with who he could have been if simply everything had been different and he cannot, no matter how hard he tries, get over the injustice of it all and get past the yearning for a life where he is better because he is allowed to be and rewarded for it. This is antithetical to wanting to be accepted for the way he is now in this reality as things are and any sort of pleading to be understood which misses the difference is off
