BOYCOTT MODTHESIMS

Any site that allows the publication of homophobic mods at any time of the year disgusts me, but for one to crop up in the TS2 download section in Pride Month is a new low for MTS. I for one have officially had it with their high-and-mighty, self-righteous, we-put-the-awful-in-lawful-neutral "standards" and want nothing more to do with the site now.

VERY broken faces mystery solved??

GUYS! while making a custom face template, i accidentally used gmnd file instead of gmdc, which caused the face to look like the second picture

now i'm thinking that possibly the same mistake happened to maxis while creating Creon and Willow Nigmos? that'd make a lot of sense in fact

my PC got factory reset yesterday and i got all my sims stuff like UI and reshade installed back 🥳

i had been using a black version of starship UI for years, but decided to switch to pink now cuz why not ya know

Trojan 💀

Hi guys! The process of creating my upcoming neighborhood will take longer than expected due to the fact I have Trojan on my computer.. Yay..

So, after doing a factory reset tomorrow it'll take me some time to set my PC back up.

As far as I know, the guy who currently has access to my computer is an incredibly dangerous person, so my private information and accounts might not be safe. If anyone wants to put him to justice, here's a link to his discord server discord.gg/dolo and his discord username is cydolo. He was supposedly just creating harmless add-ons, but here I am, huh?

Remember to not be me aka don't download programs from not trusted sources even if they might seem harmless, or if you *really* want to, ask some people online about it.

LESBIAN VISIBILITY WEEK WOO

non-sims post this time lol

quite literally this month i've realized i'm a non binary lesbian!

i came out as a trans guy when i was a kid, so i never felt welcome in sapphic communities, so i used to identify as a bi man, then as a gay man, then again as a bi man

this year i looked more into the fact that queer identities can be complex and it's not a bad thing to use "contradictory" labels and it really resonated with me!

i ended up falling in love with a woman, and not only our connection feels really queer, i've also haven't found any man attractive since then, while still finding women attractive

so i went "oh shit, i'm a lesbian :0"

i still partially identify as a guy, but my gender is really fluid between a guy and no gender 🥜

well, happy lesbian visibility week! 💕

realized something really cool

if you've made a face template before, you probably know that you can replace male face files with female face files to be able to give a male sim a female face and vice versa right?

well, if you already have one gender's template assigned to the opposite gender, you can change any part of the face to a different template that is "correctly" assigned, so you can create for example a feminine face with a more masculine-looking nose like in the first picture! i think it's really cool that we can basically blend female and male faces like that

beware though, in ts2 female faces are WAY smaller than male ones, so if you wanna blend them together, you'll have to heavily adjust the face to be propotional instead of looking like the second picture here lol

ALSO PLEASE DON'T USE THOSE FACES GENETICALLY AS IT CAN RESULT IN.. THE SITUATION IN THE THIRD PIC, the best solution is to make 2 versions of the same face template, one with "correctly" assigned genders that'll be genetic, and one assigned "incorrectly" then change your sim's face template to it via plastic surgery, so it's purely cosmetic instead of genetic

it's quite a lot of work, but i still enjoy the results a lot!
