Hiii here is my contribution for Kit Week 2025!! really this is for prompt 1 but Im here on the last day so sorry about that lmao. when I was working on the show this song came out (Brad Pitt by Coin) and I was like "why is this so Kit coded" and so I knew if I made a Kit edit, it would need to be this song !!!

Hi, I realize this is a longshot but I've been searching for this specific SU AMV that I think has been removed from Youtube, and since you were pretty heavily involved with SU AMVs, I was hoping you might have some idea on who made it/details about the video so I can look it up? It was a really important AMV to me, and it'd make my year if I could find it again.

The music was a beautiful instrumental (or at least had very minimal lyrics) and the creator interspersed dialogue from the show throughout the AMV for a more emotional impact. The ones I most vividly remember is Steven’s “What do you know about my mom. I didn’t even get to know my mom!” from when he was talking to Lars, dialogue from Rose’s video to Steven, and also Amethyst’s “I never asked to be made” line from when she was fighting with Pearl. The musical climax of the AMV (though I’m unsure about this) was shots from when they were firing Rose’s cannon on the beach where everything was washed in red.

This AMV was created before Steven Universe ended (meaning before the movie and future as well). I want to say this MV was one of the most popular ones on Youtube when SU was airing, probably passing over a million views. I think there was a lot of content revolving around Rose and Steven because the AMV came out around the first half of SU, but I’m not too sure. If you have any details that you know about this, I'd really appreciate it; it was a very emotional masterpiece that got me through some hard times. (If it's easier, I'll leave my DMs open)

Chat does anyone know what this AMV is because it sounds familiar but I can't recall
