He took a quick peek at the door and then took off his Mandalorian helmet. Running a broad hand through his dark curly hair, he let out a relieved sigh at the weight that’s been taken off his body. 

Finally he removed the linen gambeson and trousers as well as his underwear. He grabbed fresh clothes from his bag and headed to the bathroom.

Catching a glimpse of his face in the mirror, he wondered when he got to look so old… Din examined the uneven stubble on his cheeks and his curls, noticing a few gray hairs here and there. He didn’t look into a mirror very often. There wasn’t really a need for it since he always wore the helmet. A worry line right between his eyebrows and a dark shimmer under his big brown eyes were proof that he needed a thorough rest. 

Din stepped into the shower and turned on the hot water, letting it run over his muscular body. He tilted his head back and groaned at the sensation. Feeling completely relaxed and engulfed by the warmth of the water, his mind immediately wandered to the Marshall.
