I love love LOVE how much he's fumbling here, clearly fishing desperately for anything to give him leverage out of this, lying through his teeth because that's easier than admitting the truth that he cares because that means confronting that his whole facade of "funny cartoon guy" doesn't work, that she saw straight through him all the way down to the human within that he's desperately trying to pretend away.

Pulling this "clearly I've meant to hurt you all along" idea out of his ass was the last resort, because neither his aggressive nihilism nor his direct insults and mockery got her to back off and quit fighting him.

And by the end all he's got left is to plead for her to look away.. and he looks so fucking tired.

Tired of hurting, tired of charades, tired of losing people. And still he wants to live. Enough to stop himself before he could abstract, enough to fight this fucking hard to maintain his last, tattered remnants of sanity.

He's trying to do everything in his power to kill this budding friendship before it can catch because he's already too invested, he can't handle another loss - because THAT will surely be his end.

Okay so bad news for everyone on YouTube right now

Starting the 13th, we will have an AI determine if we are children or not and if you are a child, than you are forced to send your ID, send a selfie or a credit card

This has the obvious cons of having your privacy being revoked from you and and in case there is a security breach, major identity thefts.

So what do we do in this scenario?

Well right now I have real idea as this is relativity new to me, but I do have two plans

Plan 1. Bug the shit out of them, send letters and send emails about how much of bad idea this is.

Include why the AI will mess up and target adults who watch cartoons, include privacy issues, censorship issues, anything you can think of that relates to this. I want you guys to bug the hell out of YouTube until they reverse this idea

Plan 2. Blackout.

Since the thing is coming out on the 13th.

The plan will be to completely avoid YouTube at all cost for that day, no watching, no sharing, no uploading, no nothing.

Download videos before things go down, watch Netflix. Whatever you do, don’t touch YouTube.

That’s all I can say right now, I also want you guys to let YouTubers know of this situation cause if it’s important for everyone on the website to talk about this immediately

Sonic- Celestial Chaos

An AU!

Argus and the End have begun fighting, and a full blown godly war is looking to start. Various deities have started possessing people, and cities are locking down, trying to keep safe. The restoration is all over the place, and Sonic's remaining friends are stuck not knowing what to do.

The Restoration has sorted the remaining people alive and unpossessed into teams with specific purposes.

GODS:

Big the Cat- Always was a god. Is sitting in the middle of the ocean, generating power. No one is sure what for yet.

Current Alignment: ???, passive

Danger level: High

Milky Way and Cluster- Cream and Cheese were lent the power of Ariem and Illumina, and are currently protecting the Dreamscape/Maginaryworld from corruption.

Current Alignment: Ally

Danger level: Mild

The Time Eater's Harbinger- Time Eater has infected Amy, and is using her as a guardian of Whitespace while regenerating strength.

Current Alignment: Destruction, passive

Danger level: High

Dark Lead Mephiles + Null the Dark- Silver is being used as a vessel for Mephiles while his subordinate, Null, tries rebuilding him his true body.

Current Alignment: Destruction, passive

Danger level: Low, for now.

Blaze + Solaris- An allied force between the two. Trying to free Elise and Silver, as well as reunite with Mephiles and Iblis.

Alignment: Ally

Danger level: High

Prince Iblis- Using Elise as a vessel, the god is focused on decimating Soleanna and will soon target other areas.

Alignment: Destruction

Danger level: Medium

King of Crust- Tails has been possessed by Dark Gaia, and is constantly moving around the world to find a crack to open the world up.

Current Alignment: Destruction

Danger level: High

Reborn Neo Metal- After Metal decided she wanted to become organic, she used Shadow's incubation chamber to generate flesh using manufactured Bio Data. While not completely stable and running on Rebirth Energy, she is no longer under the control of Eggman.

Current Alignment: Ally

Danger level: Mild

Titan Modem Sage- Sage made a similar choice of leaving the Eggman Empire, but instead of making herself organic, she changed herself from being in cyber space to cyber space being her.

Current Alignment: ???

Danger level: High

Sonic- Holder of the chaos emeralds, and is essentially a giant generator of chaos energy. Traveling with Shadow, trying to find and free his friends from the gods.

Shadow- New prince of the Black Arms. Traveling with Sonic.

vivzie is the executive producer of the show. she isn't listed as a writer, artist/animator, or director

as executive producer, vivzie is presumably in charge of hiring people, but notably there is a voice director separate from her (richard horvitz) that will most likely be in charge of casting

the director is skye henwood; she is an animation director and writer at spindlehorse

the hiveswap act 3 team and the show's team are largely made up of different people (there are exceptions ofc such as andrew presumably overseeing both things because it's xeir story), their productions likely don't affect each other

we are getting more hiveswap news in october

the homestuck website is still being worked on (quote from miles on july 1st: "I’m happy to announce that we should hopefully be operational again pretty soon, so please stay tuned for that and we’ll keep you updated when it’s finally back up and running.") i could have sworn that someone named a specific guy from the hsbc web development team who was working on it i just can't find the exact source for this at the moment. so the show does not impact this project either
