This year I have been ON FIRE! Not to this guy's extent though gladly! This is a snippet of a big commission wherein my brief was to draw the whole family in the backyard for a barbecue and show off their hobbies, likes and what they like to get up to. This is a big commission I've been working on this autumn, with the brief of creating a farmyard scene with the family enacting some of their hobbies. I don't often get to see the big reveal but let me tell you, its so heartwarming to see one of my works being so well received and loved. The best reactions came from the mum of the family and my favourite quotes from her are 'I've never been booby-er' and 'Heckyll-Peckyll-my-Jekyll!' A wee look back at some of my favourite work of mine from 2021. In many ways it has been great emerging from the swamp of lockdown and stretching my legs, but it has reminded me that what I really like to do is to creatively stretch what I do, work with other creatives and try new things.
