i think if you're watching people lose their homes, memories, lives, pets, income, family members, stability, etc. to the LA wildfires and cheering it on, you can stop pretending like your politics are about helping/"liberating marginalized people" or building community and solidarity.

i think if you're watching the absolute devastation of innocent people whose beliefs and backstory you know nothing about and praising it because they're californians, you can stop pretending like your religion is about peace and love for "all god's creatures" or that you preach to "save people".

i think if you're watching these fires indiscriminately destroy people's lives regardless of race, class, age, or creed and you're saying it's some obscure facebook conspiracy theory instead of the climate change you've been warned about for years, you can stop pretending like you're a "free thinker" or "immune to propaganda".
