Every day, I open people’s stories from the outside world, and I’m shocked to see that life still goes on elsewhere… a life so different from the one we’re living here. There are busy restaurants, universities, airports, electricity, safety, and streets filled with joy.

And here we are — completely cut off, forgotten, as if we exist outside of time. For more than two years, we’ve been trapped in this place, disconnected from everything. No water, no food, no electricity, no safety… even the most basic needs for survival no longer exist.

Why do we have to die here? ⏳

We love life — we truly do. We have dreams we want to live for, small plans we once thought were normal, but now feel impossible.

We are not just numbers… we are human beings, suffocating in this siege, fading silently. Just because we happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Omggggg just started watching foreign films! Starting off with what's supposedly really big over there. So far, these marvel films are really interesting. I wonder if all American media is like this... Really seems heavy handed on the industrial war complex and maintenance of the status quo but that's just their culture. I wonder if there are any big actors in these movies. Haven't heard of any of them. Watching and learning

Israel has constructed severe famine through continuous bombing of infrastructure, months of blockades, and sabotaging efforts for humanitarian groups to distribute aid. 98.5% of Gaza's cropland has been destroyed or made inaccessible by Israel's ecocide.

Thousands of people have been brutally injured or killed by the Israeli military and mercenaries at the GHF death traps since they opened just a couple months ago.

90% of Gaza's 2.4 million residents have been displaced, and the death toll since 2023 has surpassed 61,000, many of whom were children and babies. The Israeli military occupation controls 75% of Gaza, and on August 7, Israel's security cabinet approved Netanyahu's plan to occupy the rest of Gaza.

This stage of genocide has received public criticism from many, even including some allies of Israel such as the British Prime Minister, the French Foreign Minister, the German Chancellor, the European Council President, and the European Commission President. As of writing this, this criticism has not translated into any meaningful change in policy. These leaders think statements can distract from their bloody hands while they still fund and directly benefit from the genocidal settler-state of Israel.

UN high commissioner for human rights released a statement saying: "The Israeli Government's plan for a complete military takeover of the occupied Gaza Strip must be immediately halted." But what is the UN doing to empower Palestine?

We must not place undue weight on statements. What matters is action. Israel's access to the tools of genocide must be severed, and Palestine's access to the resources of survival must be given immediately.

My friend Fadel needs urgent medical attention. He survived the bombing of his home, but has not been able to afford travel to a hospital that has the resources to remove the shrapnel from his body. He is in constant pain, and needs monthly medication for his disability. The cost of food is high, and his family can only afford bread with a consistent stream of donations. They are starving.

I talk to him often, and I can tell you that the number of donations he receives each week directly impacts whether he can access medicine and food to relieve his pain and keep him alive. I can also tell you that he is a very kind young man with a compassionate heart.

My name is Mahmoud, and today I am writing about my family

I’m husband and father of two children we evacuated at the beginning of the war. but my family is still suffering inside Gaza

My family was a beautiful, cheerful family that loved life and they love each other.

We have children are make fun and they the source of happiness for home

Until one day, the sounds of explosions overtook them. Days passed, and these days were very difficult for everyone in the family. Suddenly, my father fell ill, and it was determined that he was suffering with cancer, and needed surgery outside the Gaza Strip. But, because of the situation, he was unable to leave Gaza for treatment — eventually, due to lack of medical care and after suffering with his symptoms, he died.

The money we hope to raise through this fundraiser will go towards caring for and supporting the remaining members of Mahmoud's family, in light of the loss of Mahmoud's father. The money we collect will be utilised to meet his family's needs

The money raised will go towards evacuation fees for my family of 9 members : 4 adults and 5 children. I hope everyone will help my family, and help them receive the urgent medical care they need.

what are your thoughts on the whole "women fetishize yaoi" thing?

I’ve always found it frustrating that women turn to BL to cope instead of embracing themselves and exploring Yuri. But I don’t buy the idea that fujoshi are fetishizing gay people just by reading or creating BL. There are plenty of valid criticisms of BL and its fandom but that isn’t one of them.
