Facebook=Facehole
Facebook has tested the loyalty and patience of Android users by secretly introducing artificial errors that would automatically crash the app for hours at a time, says one person familiar with the one-time experiment. The purpose of the test, which happened several years ago, was to see at what threshold would a person ditch the Facebook app altogether. The company wasn’t able to reach the threshold. "People never stopped coming back," this person says.
Yew, Ladies and Gents, this is the one of the BIGGEST tech companies on this fucking planet.

Jason Snell reviews the new Magic Trackpad 2: The Magic Trackpad 2 requires Bluetooth 4, so older devices may be incompatible. But! If you plug a Magic Trackpad 2 into a Mac via the included Lightning-to-USB cable, it works even if Bluetooth is off. I can’t confirm that it’ll work on older Macs via wired mode, but it might.
This is really interesting for a company who’s trying their best to get rid of any kind of wires but now embrace it as an alternative? I think it shows even people at Apple has suffered from the well-known shitty Bluetooth bug across almost all Apple products(especially on some old model iMacs, it drove me crazy for quite a bit back then!)… for all these years.
And the best solution they can think of is back to wire again?
Are you shitting me?

Another reason why Microsoft is going down in a long run. They just have no freaking respect for their customers or in the case, themselves.
It’s just simply disgusting.

Oh Amazon...
The New York Times' Jodi Kantor and David Streitfeld interviewed over 100 former and current Amazon employees for a fantastic new report out today that reveals just how bad it can get:
"Nearly every person I worked with, I saw cry at their desk."...
Perhaps worst of all is Amazon's approach when its employees need help. The Times has uncovered several cases where workers who were sick, grieving, or otherwise encumbered by the realities of life were pushed out of the company. A woman who had a miscarriage was told to travel on a business trip the day after both her twins were stillborn. Another woman recovering from breast cancer was given poor performance rankings and was warned that she was in danger of losing her job...
At Amazon, workers are encouraged to tear apart one another’s ideas in meetings, toil long and late (emails arrive past midnight, followed by text messages asking why they were not answered), and held to standards that the company boasts are “unreasonably high.” The internal phone directory instructs colleagues on how to send secret feedback to one another’s bosses. Employees say it is frequently used to sabotage others...
As The Verge says: I'd think twice when I place an order on Amazon in the future.
I think Amazon has crossed the line. It's just simply gross if everyhting the NYT digged is true, I've been shopping on Amazon even before it's called Amazon here in China, which I recall to be Joyo? And they seem doing a pretty good job for the customers from the outsider's point of view. And the kindle store is booming here as we speak. The oversea-global order systerm is brilliant in my experience. In another word: I trust them.
But not any more, not saying that it's gonna change anything or whatever, but that's the least I can do as a normal, caring human being.

We’ve observed that drivers across multiple forums discuss the fake cars they see on their own residential streets. One driver, who makes regular broadcasts advising drivers about using the Uber system, even made a YouTube video to show other drivers how the app sometimes displays cars that aren’t there.
So Uber has their own way of blowing the pigs to the sky then...

The safest, most sensible course of action for users is to just keep their music libraries away from iTunes Match and Apple Music. We’ll all just know not to order that fish, and many of us won’t use Apple Music at all because its integration into our local libraries feels too unsafe.
And that’s too bad for everyone, because Apple Music is pretty great when everything works and you can figure out where everything is.
Marco wrote a piece on iTunes. He really shouldn't touch it, cause some parts inside of me die when I try to use iTunes...Every time.

Don't call me.
I’ve been wondering for all these years what would happen if Apple has made the iPod Touch line on par with iPhones, I mean with the same configuration except for making phone calls(I made 12 phone calls last month, it’s embarrassing that the signal drains half of my battery), like iPad, just put the cellular sim card(or built-in, like some of the iPad Air 2 models) as an option.
I know I might not buy an new iPhone if I live in big cities with considerably good cellular access and reasonable data plan. I’d probably call people with FaceTime Audio or Skype all the time.
And the iPod Touch is so much cheaper.
I guess all I’m saying here is: How much I hate the current telecom system.
