Well, helllllooooo, creative darlings! It’s almost that time of year again! What time of year?

I’ll tell you, convenient question-person-I-just-made-up. In just a few weeks 28 to Create will be back in session.  What is 28 to Create, convenient-question-person might ask? 

28 to Create is a challenge to enliven artists who might need an extra push or just wanna have some fun, culminating in a community of people sharing their work through the month of February. How does it work? Every day we will post the daily prompt. It might just be one word. It might be a setting or a command or whatever the hell we want. Your task is to create something based on it. What can I create? Anything. No, but literally anything. A series of stop motion clips using tiny dinosaurs. Baked goods. Paintings. Dances. Vlogs. Short stories. Poetry. Photography. Poop doodles. Typography. Gifs. Jewelry. Embroidery. Origami. Scripts. Songs. Bacon formed into landscapes. Tea blends. Sketches. Hair styles? Flower arranging. Make up designs. Masks. A quilt. 30 second films. An equation solving the complexities of unconditional love. We. Don’t. Care. Just CREATE.  That sounds great! What can I do to get started?  Right now we are looking for prompt suggestions for this year’s challenge! nov 11: a timely or timeless poem

My footsteps echoed behind me crunching the fiery leaves as I crunched them and I felt my own presence walking behind me arms clutched tightly against the cold, absentmindedly staring at the back of my head wondering what I thought as I wondered what I thought.

I am not real when you are not here like a museum only exists if you buy a curio from the gift shop; lips only  meet if you tell your friend; a trip only happens if you take a thousand pictures of the cracks in the monument and the brush strokes in the painting and the shadow wavering under the grass wavering under the sun or it didn’t happen it didn’t happen it didn’t happen.

You seem to me the proof of my existence.
