   “Oh…” Ayana went quiet after the awkward misunderstanding. She wasn’t sure what else to say, so she just kept munching on her pocky stick until Aoyama introduced herself. 

   “Sakanagi Ayana. That’s my name, miss.” She went quiet again, yet now she was staring at Aoyama expectantly for… something. 

Truth be told, Aoyama was quite bad at small talk so when she noticed Ayana looking up at her, it took her a moment to think of what to say. 

“Sakanagi-san, have you seen the rabbits running around?” It was something at least. The town’s feral rabbit population was famous for their friendliness to anyone who approached t them.

After spending a good few minutes agonizing over whether or not to enter, loitering around the front, Komi-san finally works up the nerve to (nervously) walk into the cafe she'd heard so much about...!

Rize found herself stunned, unable to speak. This girl…this girl was too beautiful for words. She just stood there for a moment in total mesmerization before jolting back into reality.

“F-feel free to sit a-anywhere you want.”

As soon as the menu was placed down, Sayori was carefully picking it up and holding it, keeping her attention to Chiya so that it wouldn’t seem rude or uncouth of her. Hearing the two drinks that she knew purely from her own literature club vice president makes the light in her sky blue eyes seemingly intensify, and she gives a hum in delight as she continued to think it over.

Green tea was certainly nice, but, she always tended to keep that kind of tea for literature reading since it was what Yuri always served in the form of Oolong. But… she couldn’t help but wonder how well it would compare.

“Hm… I think… I’ll take the green tea, please!”

“I’ll have it out in a moment.” Bowing, Chiya made her way to the kitchen. There was a small delay from how long it usually took to prepare but she wanted to make this cup special for the new customer.

After a short time, she walked through the kitchen with the green tea on a platter. 

“I apologize for the wait but I wanted to try something different.” she said as she placed the cup in front of the student.

Inspired by the latte art from another café, Chiya was able to create an image of a mountain inside the green tea. It was one of her favorite patterns to draw for new customers.

…Another menu? She wondered why the waitress would hand over another-…Oh. This menu contained the items’ actual names, as opposed to all those elaborate titles. Interrogating the other girl wouldn’t solve anything, especially now that Yoshiko had already ordered.

“��Then I’ll convince them to come here next weekend. I certainly hope things won’t be too busy during Yohane’s next visit~” An answer from the chuuni, hiding her annoyance over not being given the proper one first. …Then again, perhaps it might be worth bringing up the different menus - not to complain, but merely for the sake of knowing. It’ll seem less confusing for Zuramaru and Ruby if she knew about their tricks beforehand, too.

“…Admittedly, it’s questionable that this cafe has two different menus. I wonder, is this one of those trends they have in America?”

“Well, my grandmother recommended the second menu for first-time customers. I just forget about it on occasion.” While her family were grateful for all the help Chiya provided for the café, they couldn’t understand the menu any better than the customers so another one was made.

“If you will excuse me, I’ll bring out your dessert and green tea.” With a bow, the waitress went to the kitchen. After twenty minutes, she came out with the chocolate sundae and green tea on a platter.

“Please enjoy.” she said as she placed the dessert and beverage on the table along with a spoon and several napkins.

   Ayana stared at the pocky being offered to her, then glancing at the woman who was offering it. It was a gift to Aoyama, partially because Ayana had too many boxes already. She wasn’t sure how to feel about one being handed back to her, but something else was giving her mixed signals too…

   “…Are you trying to tell me to leave you alone?” she mused, accepting the stick of pocky and biting off some of the tip. 

“Not at all. I was just explaining myself. I’m sorry if it seemed like that.” Aoyama reached into the box and took out a Pocky for herself, taking a bite. It had been years since she last had one and now she regretted not picking up a box for so long.

“Could I get your name? I go by Aoyama Blue Mountain.”

“Did you jump from that building?!” It was hard to believe that anyone could have landed from a height like that without a scratch, let alone a girl who looked younger than her! With curiosity and intrigue driving her, Maya slowly approached the other girl. “A-are you okay? You don’t look hurt at all.”

Noting down her name and class in the paper quickly, I stood up from the desk afterwards and offered her a small handshake while chuckling softly and gently.

“Welcome aboard then! Right now we aren’t many members, but I hope you get along with them…we’re still trying to know each other first, yes? I want to create a place where everyone can be themselves without fear.”

Syaro reached over to shake Monika’s hand, still delighted by everything. After retracting her hand, she looked around the empty classroom once again.

“That all sounds great.” She hadn’t expected a club to try to become this welcoming but it was a pleasant surprise. “And I hope I get to meet the other members soon. I wonder what they’re like.” The last sentence was more of a mutter to herself but she did say it loud enough for the other to hear.

   THE NEW SIS seemed just as lovely as RABBIT SIS, even as some intensive wide eyed gazing had commenced on the former’s part, Itsuki had found herself smiling back to her in response. The temptation to giggle and to rub the back of her head was there, because– aw shucks, you don’t gotta stare at her like that, sis! But so it seemed, her prayers would be answered as rabbit sis would arrive with her tea. And so would commence the NEXT ACT of this adorable play itself.

   A muffled giggle, and then a silent applause of her mitten clad hands, especially when rabbit sis was able to keep her balance and not spill the tea from that loving embrace to which she had been taken into. Now grinning away as she watched the two sisters interact… was this a family cafe, then? This truly was just the sweetest sight the witness, and all the more reason she was glad she had even decided to step in then…

   “Ehehehe…” Another giggle, especially as the rabbit sis appeared a little flustered then, “It’s nice ta meetcha! … Do ye– ‘ow maneh o’ ye are thar runnin’ dis ‘ere cafe, sis?”

Cocoa felt her heart stop for a moment when Itsuki called her sis. This adorable young girl already looked up to her as a sister? She couldn’t believe it! This could only mean one thing. More cuddles! With a last nuzzle against Chino’s cheek, she moved towards Itsuki and wrapped her arms around her.

“Where have you been all my life?” she asked as she cuddled her new little sister, tears of joy beginning to appear.

“There is another girl who works here but...” Chino looked outside to see that it had begun raining. It was a slight drizzle right now but it could get worse in a few minutes. “Hopefully she gets here soon.” 

“But...are you okay with Cocoa-san doing...” The other waitress was still holding onto Itsuki, still giggling with a big smile on her face. “...that?”
