Since it's watermelon season!
My grandfather used to grow watermelons, among other things, and he told me about most of this, especially the orange spot. Those are the absolute best!

Hello tumblr it's me again, asking why there is a mature content warning on this imageset of a green shirt.
Beautiful work, OP! It's a shame tumblr thinks your hand is so very questionable.

more from my 2021 costume grad collection - details from the Tiffany Aching look. 🌱
This took a loot of art finishing/dyeing/hand-stitching (there’s dirt, Schmere, different types of grease & eeverything in there) & I used a lot of buttons inherited from my gran :)

I still firmly believe Jacob was robbed.
Antarctica is inhabited by dozens of people, and the standee was just left out on the open ice where any one of those dozens of people could go visit any time.
Jacob took Sam into the fucking UNDERDARK, a place so far removed from civilization and the trappings of all humanity as we know it that we couldn't even get a picture due to the total darkness in the bowels of the earth.
Jacob won that point in my heart and I will defend his entry to my dying breath.
Who can bring the Sam standee to the most remote location? 🌎

Hello tumblr why was this flagged as mature content thanks.
These are foxes climbing trees.
Gray foxes are known as mesopredators because they occupy the middle of their local food chain. They feed mainly on smaller animals while avoiding nearby apex predators like coyotes and bobcats. One of their techniques is to climb trees using their powerful hooked claws. They're capable of climbing branchless, vertical tree trunks up to nearly 60ft (18m). ©Texas Backyard Wildlife

I hate to say this, and like, rain on everyone’s parade, but after scrolling past three posts about it on a writing tag …
If you are looking up synonyms to exchange words out in your story with the purpose of sounding smarter, more sophisticated, or complicated to your reader, you are probably abusing the thesaurus.
Now, if you *want* to do this, I mean, you can write whatever or however you want! But I just want you to know that this is frowned upon if you are trying to write at a professional level.
I have an old article on this somewhere …

If you want to look at the original article…

voice acting as a profession is so funny because you'll see someone being like "voice actors need to be paid better! like [obscure person you've never heard of]" and you're like "oh I wonder who that person is, maybe I've heard them voice a character" and you look it up and it turns out they voice 137 characters in Futurama and 94 characters in The Simpsons and 96 characters in Adventure Time and every one of the My Little Ponies and 27 characters in Arcane and 96 characters in Kim Possible and 4 characters in Phineas and Ferb and 296 characters in Dexter's Laboratory and all of the main cast of Fairly Odd Parents and at least 6 characters in every Pixar movie and almost every animated depiction of Superman and 473 SpongeBob characters and they've been in every installment of Mass Effect and Halo and The Elder Scrolls and Fallout and Call of Duty and they were in Star Trek and Law & Order and they were 12 characters in the MCU and they also invented t-shirts and the colour green and they got paid a sum total of $3.27 and a mothball for all of it combined. then you go burn down David Zaslav's house with him inside
