I've watched Dan from the beginning, SINCE THE DAWN OF TIME. Seeing how much he has grown kinda makes me feel like a proud mom. Although now that the majority of the Phandom is little girls, sometimes can make me upset and wish in a way, that our little fandom, or a better term for it; family, was more mature as a whole. Because sometimes, not all the time though, younger people don't know what's right and wrong to say, and it shows.

Yeah it has DEFINITELY got more ‘immature’ if you like (not in a good way) maybe because of some of the younger phandom members (although not necessarily) that don’t really know any better and don’t really realise that dan and phil are actually normal people who don’t appreciate some of the shit that they say or wvz :/ i feel u ~Katie

I'm a little confused right now because on my dash there are loads of posts commenting on how people from the phandom really believe that dan and phil are back together [after seeing them interact on tonight's radio show]. I didn't watch the show, and I'm skeptical as to whether they were together in the first place. I was wondering what your thoughts were on this topic- did they actually get together at one point? x

Hmm I haven’t seen people saying about Dan and Phil ‘being back together’ (if they were ever a couple)! I only watched part of the show tonight but they didn’t seem to be acting any differently to how they are normally. I, personally, believe that they were together in 2009 but are no longer. However it would be unusual for possible exes to be on such good terms now, u feel? Idk. What do you think m8 ~Katie

.... Here's one of my thoughts.. Although I love everyone in the Phandom, and I mean all of you people are beautiful and perfect and amazing... It's just that some people just take things to far.. And sometimes it can be rather annoying and to say the least embarrassing. But, every fandom has those kind of people I guess

I agree! And yes, every fandom does but some take it to an extent that it makes even me uncomfortable or cringe. Like the brother thing for example. You love Dan and Phil for their videos, personality etc…NOT for their family. As long as their making videos and still here surely that should be all that matters? Not their personal thoughts and life’s. ~ Liv

I hate how big the fandom is getting now because there are a whole bunch of idiotic phangirls coming in and they're crowding Dan and Phil and invading their privacy (although we already somewhat did that but it's being taken to new extremes now) and I don't want them to feel like they have to change who they are or censor things just because of a bunch of annoying teenage girls and ugh

I know, but that’s bound to happen in ANY fandom I guess. I don’t think it’s something that we can necessarily prevent u feel? I think things have definitely been taken more to extremes what with all the screaming and dan and phil being treated more like celebrities. As the phandom continues to expand I feel that things are only going to get worse which sucks :/ I don’t think they’re changing who they are per say but i agree that they’re having to think more about censoring shit :/

My thoughts are that i think we're somehow driving them apart. Have you noticed how touchy-feely and how close they were in videos at the beginning of they're youtube career and now it seems they're scared of doing anything with each other because of the fact that phan-girls over-analyse everything. I fee that that's kinda sad. Just my opinion

I completely agree tbh! Like 100% I personally also think, because of all the accusations of ‘phan’ and the people finding so much ‘phan proof’ they may feel like they…can’t? As much?I don’t think they’re friendship’s any less, but I think that they’re very careful of what they do around each other/with each other in front of fans… ~Liv
