Scuttle just sort of chuckles, nodding along as he realizes that he didn't actually have a plan on what to talk about after asking that question. Though, he did note the name change from Sonic to Velocity. The wink, however, made his heart skip a beat. "O-Oh, uh, y-yeah. Nice to meet you. I guess I'm. . . Yeah, I am a fan of what you do, and, uh. . . Well, honestly, I'm pretty fast myself!" Scuttle gives a sheepish laugh. In the back of his mind, he was chastising himself for fumbling this so badly.

It was a full minute later that he realized he was still holding onto her hand. With an embarrassed half-laugh, he lets go, before clearing his throat. "Dunno if I'm faster than. . . You or anything, but, uh, I can go pretty fast-"

Wait. He just realized he forgot something.

"Oh! Uhm. Names Scuttle. The Roach." He points a thumb to his chest, as if Velocity couldn't tell he was talking about himself.

"You cry!? You've got nothin' to cry about! You weren't the one who-" There's a pause, before he opens a little rip in reality, placing a pair of chained spectacles on his nose as he read through the catalog of posts.

"GOT STOOD UP AT A DATE!" The Goat stuffs the post back behind him in his non-existent pockets. "Something I definitely remembered!" He growls, before reaching a hand out, and almost like removing a pair of stickers, tore the giant welling up tears from Sticks' eyes.

"If anyone here should cry, it's me!" And with that, he applies them to his eyes.

Sure enough, the tears were flowing down his face.

"Ohhhhh, does t'e wee maiden wanna get int' a insult 'avin' contest wit' t'e common folk? Ah suppose t'ere is ah first fer everythin', ye silver-spoon sucklin', fandan 'avin', nepot'sm focken baby arse, absolute goddamn manky wallaper, fire s'cold it couldn't burn a bawhair, maw lookin' like a focken cats musical character, fadder out t'e get t'e milk an' ain't come back, nyaff focken rocket, absolute grade-a weapon, focken purple 'aired wench, how don't'ch'ye go 'ome an' suck on yer maw's tit fer a bit longer, since we both know she's roonin' t'e show 'ere."

He somehow said all of that without gasping for air at the end.
