Been a while

Hello everyone hope all is well. I just got back from a very fun weekend getting to spend some time with my big brothers and hubby’s family to celebrate his promotion.  It’s funny how when your living day to day you don’t understand why the world is taking you on this path.  But in the end it all comes together to make sense.  I’m glad I got to have a fun weekend and really just relax.  Tomorrow I have my 2nd round for an interview.  I’m so nervous but fingers crossed, what is meant to be will be.

WOW!

All I can say about this crazy week is WOW! I mean last weekend I got to spend some good quality time with my family .. (oh that’s right I need to upload pictures) we had tons of fun and I really needed that.  This week my husband got promoted at work and I finally feel like life is going our way for once.  It’s nice to see a world where people who work hard and do the right thing get rewarded.  I feel like life over the past couple of years really hasn’t been easy for multiple reasons, my health being one of them.  But today, thinking back on my week I finally feel like there might be some light at the end of the tunnel where I can breathe again.  I’m so thankful.  Really the word is thankful.  Sure, in life there are days where it feels like a roller coaster - but for now I’m really just so happy and thankful.  I feel on top of the world, my health .. it’s been pretty bad again this week with having my crappy lungs not do what lungs need to do .. BREATHE! But I’m so happy and proud of my husband.  Is it weird, that his new promotion feels a little like mine .. I feel like we are a team.  I know a lot of things in my life I couldn’t have done without him and I know he feels the same.. so I can take a little bit of credit right? ;-)

Hello Weekend

Woohoo! The weekend is finally here I’m so excited and glad I feel like this week has gone by so slow and been such a challenge for me.  My parents are coming to town, so tonight I will have to finish my photography wall and then start to cook and bake some good foods for us to enjoy at the lake! I’m excited to have some family time enjoying each others company.  As I get older I find the importance in that time.  OH YES & the Minion movie is now out I can’t wait to go see it I can’t tell you how many times I have watched the previews.

Groove

Today went pretty well I feel like I’m getting in the swing of everything again.  I’m still sick and it’s frustrating because I just want to be healthy.  I’ve been spending my evening picking out photos and organizing them.  Hopefully this weekend I will get to decorate my wall with my new prints and create a cool collage with clothespins.  Can’t wait to show you the outcome fingers crossed.

Hey all I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July for those of us in the States. Welcome to my personal blog, I wanted a place for my thoughts so I thought this would be a great place to start.  Come get to know me and share your thoughts :) Anyways - I am still pretty sick but I managed to make it to my hubby’s family 4th of July party.  Was a beautiful sunny day on the lake to enjoy the company of others and weather outside.  We went boating, swam in the lake, watched the firework show {which I haven’t been to one in years}! Oh, and of course at the end of the night sat around the campfire eating smores. It was the perfect day and really lifted my spirits.
