The conspiracy theory/fantasy concept of earth as a farm for harvesting suffering energy (loosh) should be adapted into a theory of how The World is at like maximum energy-draining efficiency right now. Like… I can feel my loosh being harvested, so to speak, every time I have to check my damn emails. Might start saying “that really drains my loosh” a couple hundred times a day.
