Puppies and Dogs For Sale
Dogs are broadly classified into four varieties. There is a type of breed called the Hounding Dogs, which used to be used for hunting. Another type of breed is career or tasks oriented. These types of dogs are used for guarding and rescuing. There is a specific breed which has highly developed sense of smell, and these types are used for investigation purposes by the department of police. Some dogs can also be kept in house and are commonly raised as pets.
Puppies and dog sale are common in all parts of the world because dogs are considered to be a very loyal friend to humans. Buying and adopting them is usually done by dog breeders and more information about breeders is available on-line or at pet stores. The main thing that should be kept in mind before purchasing a pet from pet store is that it should be a pure breed and must be properly vaccinated. The important vaccines that should be administered to the pets are Rabies and Canine Distemper.
One of the popular breeds is the German shepherd and is mostly found with all breeders. This dog looks very agile and is highly intelligent and mostly depends on their masters. They are strong, curious and very obedient. They are specially trained for herding and security purposes. The normal shade is black, silver or cream. If you are looking for a great pet and are looking for a pure bred, it is important to get the pure breed from a respected breeder.
Another common type of dog to choose is the Pomeranian. These are a fluffy and tiny and is very commonly found in houses. The shade is pure white with a dark black colored nose; sometime brown shades are also available. A lot of care should be taken as these dogs are covered with hair and they need frequent and proper brushing to be done. They are very lovable, affectionate, and intelligent and love to be in the company of many people. They are good companion for the kids at home as they are very curious and show extreme desire to learn new activities.
A very tiny dog and all timefavorite is the Chihuahua. The colors may vary from sand, fawn, chestnut, steel blue and silver, and they make a great companion dog to have in the home. They are very tiny but more robust, very adorable and intelligent. The Chihuahua is lively and fearless. All the pet lovers should take good care of the dogs even after the purchase.

Trained German Shepherds for Family Protection
You cannot put a price on the peace of mind of knowing that your loved ones are safe. German Shepherd training will give your animal the right skills and response methods to ensure that your property and your family are securely protected. A dog is far more intimidating to potential criminals and intruders than an alarm system. Consider owning a watch dog, not only for protection purposes, but also to have a loyal and loving new member of the family.
If you are seeking a German Shepherd for sale, it would be wise to consider one that has been specially trained by an expert to behave as a guardian. This breed of dog is loved and trusted by police forces all over, and for good reason. They follow direction so well and are easily trained by police K9 experts. The dogs are obedient, caring, and courageous, which are all outstanding qualities for a family pet.
Just by looking at a German Shepherd, it is easy to see that they are strong, swift, and agile creatures. They were originally bred for herding purposes, so they have a natural instinct to guard and to follow direction from their owner. A full grown male can weigh nearly a hundred pounds, while a full grown female will typically fall between fifty and seventy five pounds. They have very strong jaws and a forceful bite.
The intelligence of German Shepherds make them highly desirable as pets. They are quick to learn new tasks and follow directions and instructions. It is these qualities, coupled with their size and strength, that makes this breed ideal for police work, search and rescue efforts, and as guard dogs. They are very active animals and love to play outdoors with their companions. They are eager to learn and take on new tasks. Families that enjoy spending time outside would certainly benefit from having a loyal friend in a well trained dog.
German Shepherd training can be done right in the comfort of the home. Canine experts with extensive knowledge and experience with training ensure that each dog is obedient and well behaved. It is important that a dog be properly socialized in order to allow it to experience real world situations. These include walking down a busy street, playing in a dog park, hearing loud and unfamiliar noises, and much more. A well trained dog will be under control in any situation, and able to respond and behave appropriately.
Pet owners prefer to have an animal that is well mannered and friendly, especially when it comes to having guests in the home. A dog that is trained correctly and is obedient will reflect well on his owners. It shows that you, as an owner, have taken the time to work with your animal and adjust their behaviors in a positive way.

Buying a Working Dog Puppy
youtube
My goal is to help you in the purchase of your next working puppy that will be used in personal protection, police K9, or schutzhund. This information could be applied to any person buying a puppy, but this article is intended for working puppies. The article has been laid out in 4 step approach. Some of the steps may seem like common sense, but much time needs to be applied to each step for a desirable outcome.
Buying a puppy is a much bigger risk, then buying an adult. A puppy may not end up making a good prospect, or might end up having bad hips. When you buy an adult there are fewer unknowns.
I would like to debunk some common myths regarding choosing a puppy over an adult. This is not to say one is better over the other, but to give you some insight to common myths. I believe because of these myths many people buy puppies, when adults might be a much better choice.
Myth #1
An adult will not bond with me like a puppy.
This is one of the biggest myths of dog ownership. Some of the best dogs that have come into our working dog program were brought in as adults. Adult dogs can develop just as strong of a bond with you, and sometimes even more so than a puppy.
We purchased a 7 year-old, imported German Shepherd that had been placed in several homes. The moment she arrived home an instant bond was developed with my wife. The dog is now 9 and to this day the dog will literally not leave her side. We joke and say this dogs acts as though she raised her as a puppy.
Myth #2
If I raise the puppy, it won't have behavior problems that might come with an adult.
If this was the case we would not have the need to train dogs. No dog is going to be perfect. Whether it was raised as a puppy, or bought as an adult, each dog has its own set of problems.
Many adults have been raised from a puppy in more controlled environments, then the average family household. When a puppy is being held back by us for personal protection, police K9, or sport work, it is not allowed to do whatever it wants. When the dog is here, it is being taught a job, or is performing a certain task that will be used as an adult. Most households are not structured enough to follow through with this kind of training.
So, do you still think a puppy is right for you? Read on.
Step 1
Pick a suitable breed.
People ask me all the time, what makes a good working puppy and what should I be looking for in a puppy. The answer depends on what the dog is going to be used for and you also need to see that the dog's characteristic match the owner's activity level.
Ask yourself this question. What end result do I want out of this dog? Repeat this question again and again until you can clearly define what the purpose or job this dog is to perform. This may not seem very important to a lot of people, but this will save you a lot of energy, time, and money.
Every working breed has its attributes. Let me give you an example.
Bob calls me and says, "I want to buy a Belgian Malinois puppy to raise as a home protection dog."
I ask him, "Why do you want this particle breed?"
He replies, "I have a friend that has one, and he told me they are the best breed for home protection."
I then ask him, "What is your activity level like?"
He then goes on to tell me he has a bad knee that does not allow him to get around much.
With that being said, many breeders would sell him a Belgian Malinois, because they would fail to ask these questions and assume Bob could handle the high energy level of a Belgian Malinois. I would recommend a more suitable breed for Bob. This is where it is very important that you do your research on the breed you are going to buy, or contact a reputable breeder. Just like all breeds of dogs have advantages and disadvantages, the same goes for working dog breeds.
Step 2
Choose the right bloodline.
The second thing to look for is the puppy's pedigree. This may sound simple, but it can even be a challenge for an experienced breeder. A dog's pedigree consists of many generations of dogs.
This is one area where it helps to have a reputable breeder assist you. We will discuss choosing a breeder in the next step. If you are going to search on you own, then you will need to learn how to read pedigrees, understand hip ratings, and working/show titles, but it does not end there though. You will need to speak with people that have information about temperaments of the parents as well as other dogs in the pedigree. If available, seeing the parents is also very helpful in determining what the parents temperaments are like.
If line breeding is being done, ask the breeder why and what traits they are trying to improve and which ones they want to eliminate. If the breeding is a total out cross, then ask the breeder the same questions.
Step 3
Choose a Breeder.
This is not an easy task. Searching the internet will bring up thousands of websites. Every site will claim they are breeding the best dog, so how do we navigate through this maze?
Do a simple Google search for the kennel owner's name. This will bring up any negative potential information, and may show how they have handled negative transactions, etc. in the past.
Call or email the breeder and ask what their breeding goals are, and why are they breeding? If they are new to breeding don't rule them out as a potential place to buy your puppy. Our company helps new kennels get established all the time, allowing them to produce very good litters.
Watch out for breeders that don't hold puppies back. We typically hold puppies back for our working dog program so that we can see what types of dogs we are producing. If a breeder sales all their puppies, then they have no way of knowing what they are producing.
If the breeder is selling working puppies for personal protection dogs, police K9 dogs, or schutzhund sport dogs, then they should have a working program. Ask them if they decoy, or work their own dogs. Our company not only raises and works dogs, but we also train and work client's dogs.
Step 4
Pick the right pup.
The fourth step is selecting the right pup. If a breeder allows you to pick any pup out of the litter walk away. This again is where an experienced and knowledgeable breeder is needed. As a breeder myself, having potential buyers pick puppies without clarifying what the buyer wants and needs are can lead to a disaster.
We, as breeders, have a responsibility and are not doing due diligence by not properly placing puppies. Breeders are not perfect, and puppies can change because of many factors by the time they reach adult hood. Our success rate of dog placement is very high, because we take the time to match the right dog with what the potential buyer wants and can handle.
There are some exceptions to the rule, but the breeder has spent the last 8 weeks with the pups, and who knows better about the pups than them. Testing a puppy while at the breeder does not give you the time needed to evaluate the dog.
When looking at a potential prospect the traits that are needed for them to be future working dog should be evident.
Let's use this example. Sherry calls us and is concerned about the crime level in her neighborhood and wants a dog to use as a deterrent. She is inquiring about a breeding that is suitable for working homes. Sherry explains that she wants to put down a deposit and have first pick of the litter.
I ask her how much experience she has.
Sherry replies, "I have owned a German Shepherd, but never one from working bloodlines. Also, on your website it says these dogs will have high drives. What does that mean?"
I then explain that this breeding is recommended for experienced handlers because of the high drives these dogs will have. The puppy will need to be worked on a daily basis, and is not suitable for just a pet.

MalinoisFor Sale - Find The Right Dog
youtube
When you are looking to find a Malinois for sale it is important to take steps to ensure that you get the best dog possible. While a Belgian Malinois is a great dog it is easy to make common mistakes that can end in a very lousy experience with your new canine companion.
The Belgian Malinois is a herding breed. That means that this dog may have a herding instinct and often has a great deal of drive to play with a ball, toy, or other object. Some Malinois breeders like to breed their dogs to have very high prey drive. This can be excellent for sport training, police training, military training or other style of working dog training. If you are equipped and knowledgeable about this type of dog then you may be fine with a dog that has high prey drive. If you are a novice, rookie, or new dog owner you may find it very difficult to own a dog like this. You may want to look for a breeder that breeds for a more calm dog.
The Malinois can also be a high strung dog. They tend to need a great deal of exercise and, as a rule, are very intelligent and inquisitive dogs. That means that unless you are able to provide a great deal of attention, exercise, and training then getting a Belgian Malinois could potentially be a mistake. Make sure that if you invite a member of this breed into your home that you are prepared for proper training. In most cases it is best to have already selected a dog trainer to help you transition this new dog into your home.
While the Belgian Malinois is typically a healthier and sturdier dog than it's more well known counterpart, the German Shepherd, they can still have issues with health. It is important to find a breeder that religiously health tests their breeding stock and foundation animals. Look especially for breeders who are testing the hips and elbows of their stock and have certified those hips and elbows as healthy and dysplasia free.
Because they are a rare dog it is easy for a person to see an ad for a Malinois for sale and be tempted to buy the dog quickly. It is a better idea to research, be patient and hold out for the best dog possible and not jump into buying a Malinois unless it's the right dog.

Some people fear that a dog specifically puppies will may not last long in your care. If you previously own a dog, then there is a fear that this one may not live up to the standards of your previous pets. Although you can be 100% perfect about choosing the right pet caring for it, it may help if you follow these puppy selection tips:
1. Make sure everything agrees about buying puppies for sale because as much as these furry creatures are cute, they require proper care and is considered as a big responsibility. Many people said that a dog is a child's responsibility but the truth is, everyone in the household must take care of it. If dogs needs plenty of care, how much more a puppy? Some pups need attentive grooming and requires plenty of attention. If everyone can't deal with a small dog, then choose another pet to purchase.
2. Be cautious with the breed of puppy to buy. Take notice about the advantages and disadvantages of buying purebreds. Although they are the type of dogs that are very predictable, they are also very expensive.
3. Speaking of expensive, another thing you need to consider when buying puppies for sale is affordability. Take note that spending for a dog does not end on paying the price of a canine. After you brought your pet at home, you will spend a huge amount of money for vet bills, medicine costs, flea prevention, heartworms pills and food. Once you buy a puppy, you must provide also for its personal needs.
4. Pet insurance. Do not forget that a dog also needs a pet insurance that will cover for its needs. You can talk to a vet and discuss to him about treatment costs and insurance quotes that is suitable for your pet.
Choosing or buying a puppy for sale shouldn't be taken lightly. There are so many things to be considered. Your priority is to protect the welfare of the dog. If you can't commit and provide the needs of a small animal, then you are not fit to buy a pet.

Quick Guide To Buying A German Shepherd
youtube
The German Shepherd is one of the most popular dog in the world and has steadily seen its popularity rise till it is now in the top 3 in the world with regards to popularity. Many people buy German Shepherds because they like what they hear about them or read about them which is not always a good thing. A dog is a living thing and cannot be judged the way you would a car or an electronic item. Putting down its merits and demerits and making a rational decision may be very good for other things, not a dog.
When you are looking for a dog, look around for some time and see the grown up ones. All pups look cute, but they do not remain pups for ever. Getting to know a little more about the breed and their needs will go a long way towards helping you get one that you want.
If you decide on a German Shepherd, very good. They are amazing dogs and will be good friends with you till their death. There are however some quirks in their character that you need to allow for so look it up.
Before you even look at the pups look at the mother (the dam) and the father (the sire). Dogs do not need too long to "recuperate" after child birth and although you will find the dam always lying down next to the puppies, the sire will not always be around. Watch them walk around, the dam can be tired, especially if it has a large litter and has to produce so much more milk, but should not show any structural defects. Because the gestation period of the dogs is just a little over 60 days, many people keep the puppies coming like a conveyor belt. This is not good and although dogs do not need a few years like humans do, one litter a year is what responsible breeder will allow for. This is because after the puppies are born, the will release them to you only after at least 70 or 80 days after they are fully weaned. A few more months to recuperate will do the dam a world of good before the next litter.
Finding defects in puppies is very difficult, but keep in mind that temperament is very easy to spot quite early in their life. Don't just go take a look and get one that looks nice. Watch the puppies for some time and you will slowly begin to get an idea of each ones character. Go with the one that pulls your heart not your eyes and you will never regret your decision.
