Hi I just saw option 2 has been decided by the votes and I wanted to add in my own 2 cents. The reader has mostly likely spent her entire relationship with Wukong and Macaque hearing them say all the hateful things about humans and as someone who's went through something similar, stuff like this is very damaging to one's self image. I can imagine the reader feeling more like a pet than a wife, an equal, and maybe questioning if Wukong and Macaque actually liked her. Going through years, decade's or more facing this and it all just coming crashing down with her having enough and saying what she always wanted to say about demons (which still probably couldn't compare to the things Wukong and Macaque had said about humans). And those two had the audacity to be hurt by her words??? What about how she felt all those years?? Which then ends up forcing her to raise their kids all alone and her having to spend everyday worrying about them and wondering if they'll survive tomorrow every night. Oooo I hope those two are fucking groveling at her feet and she doesn't make things easy for them in this au. If she's suffering so should they (but double it 😛😛😛).

Soo I do like this, the only thing is she don't have kids at that point. Their first children come right before LMK. Which makes it all the heartbreaking for Wukong and Macaque that they didn't get to see so much. 😢

The babies first laughs, when they first rolled over, their adorable chirps and when they first started babbling. Who knows maybe they'll be lucky enough to hear their first proper words.

But this idea? Yes I do like it indeed! She has no intention of feeling like a pet ever again. Unfortunately the duo didn't realise she ever felt like a pet, maybe they'll finally learn if she yells at them about it. They'll be heartbroken!

Will they grovel? Hmm now that is the question. Depending on the circumstance they may or may not. Because if they are already angry and also yelling then they might make a bad decision like possibly saying something they don't mean.

"Well, if you feel like a pet already, what difference will it make if I make you my pet!?"

Like dude that's a bad choice of words. But what do ya'll think?

Divorced Lmk Au - Sleep Bug

*Thud*

Your body hit the floor as your mind fell into a state of unconsciousness. Your phone clattering to the side as the glitch forced you into a defensless sleep. The barrier you had meticulously crafted for years rippled, nearly shattering as it weakened due to your state.

You couldn’t even force yourself to wake when two soft cries echoed from the nursery.

Macaque heard the cubs cries almost immediately. His ears shot up right with his body as he jumped out of bed. He NEVER heard anything within your barrier, stumbling through his house in only his shirt, black pants. He didn't even bother with shoes as he fell into his shadow.

The minute he arrived at the building, he found the barrier half gone and the door slightly ajar. Rushing into the building his shoulders went slack when he found... nothing. Nothing aside from you, passed out on the ground.

Checking you over, there was no sign of any bruising or cuts. You hadn't hit anything since the floor was clear, so you appeared to be fine. A staticy sound filled his ears, causing him to turn his gaze to your phone.

Flicking his ears he heard Mk running around, good he was handling it. The cries from the nursery didn't stop, so Macaque turned his attention to his cub while one of his clones scooped you up into its arms.

You were moved to your bedroom while Macaque walked towards his cubs. The two were in separate cribs which has been pushed up against each other.

"Shh, shh what's wrong my little shades?" He cooed as he picked up Bao and then Tao. Golden eyes were brimmed with tears as their ears pressed together hard.

It didn't take long before he realised that the barrier being gone no long stopped the sound of the city from coming in. At their age the cubs needed calm and quiet but the sound of everything was blinking through.

While everyone was asleep, there were still loud noises, like car alarms, engines idoling, and the buzz of electricity. Without waisting time Macaque summoned a spell to quiet the sounds. Both cubs quieted soon after as their tiny fists held onto his shirt.

Cooing softly he turned on his heel to walk over to your room. You were there sleeping on the bed, your breathing even and your heart beat steady. Summoning shadows to arrange a small rail around the bed he allowed the cubs to crawl on the bed to you.

Smiling, he watched the scene of both cubs to curl into your side and fall asleep. Reaching his hand to his cubs, he gently scratched their heads, making them purr.

"You really did a good job," His words were bittersweet as he turned his attention to you. Gently leaning over the bed to kiss your forhead before he sat down so the cubs were between you and him.

Arouns two hours passed. The softest prick at his magic told him all he needed to know. The cubs were imprinting on him. A low purr left his chest as he allowed the cubs to take as much as they wanted.

He could have rejected the imprinting. Maybe he should have, but he couldn't bring himself to hold his magic from the cubs. His precious little shades.

His perfect family. All that was missing was Wukong... a crazed look passed through his eyes as he thought about getting his family back.

"No matter how much I try, I can't truly reject either of you can I?" He laughed to himself as he tried to calm down.

Had it been years ago when you approached him. Had you grabbed his hand, his sleeve, had you asked just one more time... he would have probably succumbed to anything you asked for, anything you wanted.

Because he was a fucking simp.

On the topic of the duo having to catch Reader while she is asleep to properly imprint on the cubs~

Has anyone thought about the Sleep Bug episode? Like Reader glancing at her phone to see some strange app appear. Assuming that it's from an automatic update when her phone decides to download extra apps she opens it to see what kind of game it is!

Macaque of course tells Wukong to get ahold of himself and apologize for hurting Reader and that his actions are on him alone. Reader was refusing to forgive Wukong (rightfully so) since he was only giving half asses apologies and Macaque could get upset at her and they get into a verbal fight themselves. With Macaque saying that’s just how Wukong is and there’s no changing him and Reader saying that’s she refuses to live and be with someone who could even accidentally in their anger hurt her. And since Wukongs actions drove away Reader Macaque couldn’t salvage the relationship blames Wukong and also leaves him.

#Five - What if Macaque kills someone Reader had gotten close to as a human friend. She hadn’t known that her so called friend was a spy trying to tear down the kingdom they had built. So of course Macaque kills them with out thought. And unfortunately Reader walks in on the act and let’s just say it was a very gory site to see. She’s upset that he one killed her friend and two they died in an horrific way. Macaque did try to tell her that they were a spy but she refuses to believe him. Then Wukong comes into the room sees what happened and asked if Macaque was finished with what he asked him to do. Reader whirls on Wukong asking if he ordered Macaque to kill her friend and without missing a beat Wukong agrees. Reader is furious at the two and refuses to talk to them not only their blatant disregard for life but also the fact that they can kill a human in that way for pretty much no reason is baffling and she refuses to believe apart of it. The boys blame each other for pushing reader away saying it was the others fault that she had to see that. They are not sorry for the killing of course lol.

How I think they would split up? Well, I think something went wrong perhaps when it comes to their relationship, and it happened to be a final straw. Building up each and every mess up, perhaps the reader is the one to slowly have that building up dislike, and it just overflows and causes a divorce between the reader and the monkey bois.

I know it sounds basic, but imagine food being stolen that was being saved. Petty arguments about something. Stuff that by themself isn’t that bad, but building up over time and it just overflows into that divorce. Maybe reader feeling unloved due to not being heard.

Wukong believes that they also need to be trained only a little bit older like Tenish year old. Reader believes that they should have the choose of weather or not they want to learn how to fight. Macaque and Wukong argue that it is the duty of the heir to their kingdom to be able to fight and protect this land, but Reader wants her children to have the freedom to choose their own path in life. So until they come to a middle ground between the three she refuses to have children. She even stopped drinking anything she didn’t get herself to make sure they didn’t use the mother-mother river on her. Unfortunately they kept fighting and bickering until they split all three unwilling to compromise.

#Nine - Reader is felt smothered. She can’t do anything or go anywhere that’s not within the duos line of sight. So she left

#Ten - Reader never wanted to be a stay at home mother. She wanted to start her own business or do something outside of the house. Having been held back by a time when she wasn’t allowed to even think about doing anything else but stay home, she wants to step out into the more modern era now that she’s immortal and do what she couldn’t even dream of as a little girl. Wukong and Macaque felt differently they wanted her to stay home and raise the children. Where it was safe and they could keep an eye on her. They fought constantly about this. Going around in circles for years. Reader having finally had enough leaves them. They blame each other of making her leave and letting her get away and also end up going separate ways as well.

#Eleven - Reader as a human is constantly changing. Humans had short lives so they were forced to adapt quickly or die. Reader never lost that habit even when she became immortal. Being able to go with the flow as easily as a leaf in water. The duo having been long lived demons before they became immortal were slow to change in anyway. Wukong felt like he couldn’t cope with every new year Reader having learned a new skill or so easily changing her mind. Macaque felt like he wasn’t able to keep up with her . Their people loved her for how fast she’s implemented things to improve the community changes that took years under the duo took months when she became queen. At first they loved it as well. But after many many years they started feeling inadequate to her. How could demons become weaker to a human? So they maybe unintentionally at first started to undermine her or insult her. Trying to make themselves feel better about the power shift in the dynamic. Of course the other monkey would point out what the other one said and how it was problematic to do that to their wife. Slowly but surely they chipped away the trust and love they had for each other until they literally couldn’t look each other in the face without feeling shame and regret for their own actions

#Twelve - The monkey duo and Reader were happily married for ages. They all loved and cherished each other more than anything else.

But as time went on Wukong became more and more obsessed gained more power and immortality. You tried to talk him out of it let him just stay and be happy with what he had. But he would say that as a human you wouldn't understand, hurting you even more.

You tried to ask Macaque for help and at first he talked to Wukong about it but also soon decided that he also wanted more power. You had no way of stopping them when they left.

You had waited for several hundred years before finally leaving the mountain you once called home. You left and after years of travel and loneliness you had found them. Only they had changed, they had become enemies and they were more interested in killing each other than talking. And soon enough you also ended up in one of their fights.

Inevitably seperating all three of you and making you go your seperate ways.

Imagine if wukong and macaque had separately shapeshifted into disguises to see their kids at reader’ shop, and then they see and hear someone flirting with reader, even worse if reader agrees to a date

Ooh yess!! I could see them entering separately of accidentally going on at the same time.

I honestly don't see her accepting but she would be flattered. She is extremely protective of her cubs, they are her children and no one elses! They are only like 4 years old at this point and only the size and mentality of 2 because they don't have a solid steady stream of magic flowing to them. (Aka at least one of their dads)

She also doesn't want to risk them imprinting on someone who is inevitably going to leave. If they imprint on someone else then they would be relying on them and honestly after everything that happened with both Wukong and Macaque I'm not so sure she'll want to be with someone else. At least not until the twins are older and don't need her to be constantly around. She can only be away from them for a few hours before returning to take care of them.

It's also due to the fact that most demons try to imprint on cubs just to force their other parent to give them 'respect' so they can basically imprison them. Reader knows this so she rejects any demons that make a move on her. And most humans look at her cubs and run the other way because they look A LOT like their dads.

Their first goal would be to see their adorable cubs and then seeing someone flirting with their mate baby mama!? This is unacceptable! She is the mother of their cubs, she can't accept something like this!!

Divorced au split up~

Why did they get into a fight?

Why did Wukong, Macaque and Reader actually split up?

Was it just because the duo were gone so long? Because they got into the fight? Because of some misunderstanding? Or because they were young and dumb, making bad decision after decision, inevitably chasing the ones they loved away?

I want YOUR thoughts! Give me ideas so we can have a vote!

Okay another divorced lmk au idea

Imprinting! A cub imprints on their mother immediately due to the mother carrying them. And then imprints on their dad/s after a few hours of cuddles. It requires physical contact.

So Reader does everything she can to stop the cub from imprinting on anyone other than her. She doesn't trust most men and is only trying to protect the twins.

Of course when the duo find out about their cubs they try everything they can to let the cubs imprint on them.

Mind you if they succeed then the cubs will NEED them around more because the imprinting is what kickstarts the parents feeding their cubs magic. If they imprint on someone and their parent disappears then the cub can go through many health scares.

Which would force Reader into allowing the duo to help look after the cubs. Of course since they only need to be less than roughly 100ft away from their parents, Reader may still try to keep them away after everything that's happened between them.

It would definitely cause a fight if only one of the duo managed to get the cubs to imprint on them. The other would have more of a disadvantage.

Fuck.... okay how?

I have absolutely no idea how to make that work so I want no I need help ya'll!

Cause Pigsy and Tang raised MK, so why did Reader leave him with them? And how old was she when she left him with them?

Does she sense something is off but brushes it off? Actually maybe, she could sense something like a fragment of her energy being used and find out from a demon or celestial that it's possible to use magic to create offspring.

Now magic can only be used when the magic has previously been woven together. Or if the magic user is trying to use their own magic to make offspring. Aka when intimacy has been had prior previously had. So basically this spell can't be done if someone simply steals your magic (unless they had previously had a physical relationship with you.)

But Reader doesn't need to know that part plus she probably doesn't realise that the duo are his other parents until later. When she goes to find Mk it takes her a while, and by then he is already 3 of 4 and being raised by Pigsy and Tang. Not to mention he looks human in this au, at least at first.

So she becomes the aunt of sorts who stops by every now and then. At the time she sees he's happy and cared for. And she has no need to even try to tell the duo because for all she knows Mk is only hers.

Omg I just had THE BEST idea!

What if one of the three knew about MK! Like maybe Macaque saw the future in one of his dreams! Or maybe Wukong saw him hatch but he was stolen away! Or maybe Reader sensed his presence somehow... that one sounds less likely but omg the drama!

If one of the three knew they had a child but either didn't tell the others or just maybe thought they had abandoned the cub.

One day, they finally reunite and/or meet their cub for the first time as a teen with his friend Mei. They find out he is being raised well and surprisingly (if it's one of the duo) they don't take Mk from his home. Instead they watch over him.
