chronic pain is so overstimulating and i think that's so overlooked. sometimes im not even upset or crying from pain but just because i cannot stand my brain constantly THINKING about the pain or feeling something sharp and stabby in my back. like it's not the pain itself, it's just how overwhelming it can be, how much it kinda consumes your thoughts.
