╰  Phoenix is slightly irrational, always has his head caught in the clouds and holds more useless information than necessary. If he’s not reading, he’s writing. If he’s not working, he’s outside in a field.

╰  If you’re trying to get a hold of him, it would be better to come and find him rather than calling or texting, there’s a good chance that his phone is either misplaced or dead and even if it isn’t he’s never been the greatest at getting back to people. Not purposefully aloof, Phoenix just always has a million thoughts running through his head and might not even realize that he’s blowing someone off.

╰  Although a hopeless romantic at heart, Phoenix very rarely expresses these feelings and doesn’t have much of a track record as far as relationships go. But read a few pages of his journals and you’ll know how much he longs for it.

╰  He doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life and is more so focusing on living in the moment.

╰  Has a strong belief that everything happens for a reason.

╰   worked as a bookseller for years but quit that job to help Juniper with Rose's Apothecary. He is extremely happy for his sister and wants nothing more than to be supporitve of her dream.

B I O G R A P H Y

╰  Phoenix’s mother passed away when he was only six years old. Although old enough to miss his mom and slowly realize she wasn’t coming back; it took a while to comprehend what exactly death was. At the same time his mother passed though, he received something he had been waiting for for years; a younger sibling. Juniper’s arrival made the passing of his mother a bit easier to deal with or at least it distracted him from the loss. His father did not deal with their mother’s death well and a lot of responsibility was placed on Phoenix. At the same time that Phoenix was forced to grow up quickly; he still managed to stay in a bit of a dream world. With everything spinning out of control around him, he never really dealt with the loss of his mother. Luckily, their grandmother was there to help with some things and eventually more so as his father went in and out of jail for various crimes. With everything happening Phoenix almost felt as if the world around him wasn’t real. .

╰ When Phoenix was nine, his father lost custody of him and his sister permanently.. although Phoenix didn't know much at the time, he did eventually find out that their father was a murderer. From then on out they grew up with their Grandma Rose and it was a much better place for them. Unfortunately for Phoenix though, it just added more confusion.. He had lost his mother but gained his sister, been separated from his father but now got to live with his grandma. With bad came good and at some point Phoenix felt that everything must happen for some reason or another. Now days he has accepted that he can not control the world around him and believes that the universe has a set plan.  

╰ Life with Grandma Rose was wonderful though and looking back at his childhood, Phoenix holds a lot more memories of those good times than anything else. They weren’t wealthy by any means but Grandma Rose took care of them and taught them the importance of things that weren’t monetary.

╰ Unfortunately, a few months ago Grandma Rose passed away and now Phoenix is desperately searching for some good to cling onto and having a hard time processing her death and actually having to deal with all of the emotions it has brought up. Grandma Rose left everything to Juniper and Phoenix and he is currently still living in the same cottage that they grew up in.

S U M M A R Y

╰ phoenix is a mess, i am a mess.. we'll get through this together. i tried not to babble tooooo much about the backstory since you've probably already read it from juniper's! phoenix is a highly distracted, although intelligent individual who is in love with the idea of the world in theory but disappointed in the way that it all exists in reality. same tbh i would love to plot with any and everyone and am pretty open to anything! i hope you'll come to love phoenix as much as i do! special thanks to nico for letting me steal her formatting lmao
