It begins with Toph approaching Zuko, who is sitting near a campfire. “You have a scar?” she asks. Zuko replies,  "Oh! Uh, yeah… You didn’t…?“ Toph cuts him off and says, "Came up in passing with the other guys.” Toph casually makes herself a seat out of rock and sits down next to him. “Must be pretty badass if everyone assumes I know it’s there, too,” she continues. Zuko looks aside awkwardly and says, “… It’s on my face.” “Ah.” Toph replies.

Zuko says, “Maybe you could… feel it?” “Huh?” says Toph. “I guess, if I concentrate hard enough.” Zuko reaches for Toph’s hand. “Uhm, just with your hand, if you want,” he says. “I don’t think I can describe it.” “… Gotcha. Guide my hand then, boss,” Toph says. Zuko does so, and there’s a pause as Toph touches his scar. The fire reflects in her eyes.

As Toph pulls her hand away, Zuko says, “…. You know, my left eye is almost blind, too.” “Seriously?!” Toph exclaims. “Why aren’t we a tag team yet?! The blind bandit and the half-blind dweeb!” “Come on…!” Zuko moans. End ID]

i’ve had this comic sketched out for months but only decided to finish it now, it’s based on something i drew a couple years back of toph and zuko….don’t think too hard on when or how this takes place because i don’t really know either! it’s just a concept i’ve always wanted to draw

yeah, this is my pet knight, she's a rescue. i gave her a brief act of mercy and she followed me home and sat outside my door to guard me from intruders. she swore her undying allegiance to me in exchange for a gift of grace and now she sleeps at the foot of my bed and weeps when im late coming home. and yeah, she only eats wet food because she's a snob, also.

I hate this fucking dance. Just say what you fucking mean. Don't automatically agree with me like I'm going to hurt you if you don't. I'm trying to have a conversation, not talk to an incredibly agreeable brick wall assuring me that it's a complete person and not just a wall.

We wouldn't feel so disconnected if you had actually fucking talked any of the times I told you I felt disconnected. If you had said something other than "noo it's totally fine I don't feel that haha". But then when I decide enough is enough and I want to actually leave you're like "omg yeah I've felt disconnected for a while too" and like. Why. Why didn't you talk about it. Did you want this to work or not? And if you didn't, why the fuck didn't you tell me so I could stop wasting my time on you?

Stop fucking fawning. I was never going to try to hurt you for disagreeing. I would have been fucking happy to hear you disagreed or were upset at me or anything at all. That's how we get closer, you idiot. We can't be close if you don't tell me if I upset you.

I don't know if you knew the ship was sinking but didn't know why. Maybe you didn't think it could be saved. Maybe you didn't know how. Maybe you were trying to get it to sink faster. But now it's at the bottom of the ocean. And I'm fine with that.

I'm a bit narcy about other narcs relating with my posts saying they're better than everyone else. Like, I know I'm better than everyone else. But most people are shit. So I don't know that you're better than everyone else.

Like, do you have an actual reason you're better than everyone else? Is it that you're extremely right all the time? More knowledgeable than other people? Better at doing something? Or are you, like... actually a good person willing to listen to other people and own up to mistakes and hurtful things you have done? Because that's why I'm better than other people.

I know with npd you have to be better than everyone else to feel okay. But honestly most of y'all aren't better than everyone else and it's just cope.

Can we begin to normalize large egos that think of themselves as god-like, that type of stuff?

Like, I'm all for anyone who wants their path of healing to be "becoming humbler", but it seems like when it comes to Cluster B, the only way we'll ever be congratulated is if we're shackling ourselves up, wading around in self-hatred, and labeling ourselves as awful for the approval of NTs.

I think that's bullshit. I think that healing can have multiple paths, none should be destructive, and I'd like one of them to be learning to be okay with a giant ego, knowing you're better than other people, but still being outwardly kind, generous, sweet, compassionate. We may think we're Gods compared to someone else, internally, but unless the NTs around that individual with a PD are so controlling they're bothered by thoughts that never reach the light of day, it will never affect them. We won't let them get hurt, because that's what a cool God would do.

God's can be flawed, make mistakes, be silly, have wild and ever-changing emotions. Just look at the pantheon of Greek gods and you'll see how much chaos surrounds these individuals and their stories.

You should always be allowed to know yourself as a God inside your own mind, as long as you are an awesome God who does cool things like being nice to someone.

Normalize healthy egotism.
