Just trying to write a coherent story I've had in the back of my mind for years now. Thought it would be fun to show my progress and share the story.

World Building Thoughts
Just to put my thoughts on paper I drew out a small diagram based on the evolution of my alien characters. My thought was that how humans evolved from monkeys, these aliens are evolved from nature. I might change some of the names later on, as well as do some more research on evolution when I have the free time.

Prologue
Across space, time, and the multiverse itself lies another dimension. An alien planet, dubbed the name Equethonia, is filled with all different kinds of races, religions, cultures, and ethnicities that are all under the rule of one council. The Founders. Trust me, that's what they are called. It’s a dumb and uncreative name that my people have lived with for centuries, and if you could see them like I have you wouldn’t like it either.
Reader, if you continue to peruse these pages, I can not assure you of a happy ending. I am just writing the facts about my own life. If you decide to put the book down to save yourself from witnessing the horrors my life entails, I cannot stop you and frankly encourage you. But to those who have a thirst for adversity and lust for victory like myself, then this book is for you. If you do not know who I am, let me introduce myself. I am Professor Corrine Jovial Ellwood, one of the first half-Human Equethonians on my planet, technically the 5th if you count my elder sisters. But out of all 5 of us, I was the only one who truly expressed and loved their humanity. To this day I still do not understand how my family could come to hide that part of themselves when humans could teach us so much.
However, reader, if you are a human or some other alien species reading this book to try and understand Equethonians, then I fear my book will only give you the wrong impression. If you are reading this book to understand the love of family and what it means to be a hero and their journey, then you have also picked up the wrong book. Pick up The Odyssey or something. What my story will do is only make you question your life, your morals, and perhaps even judge me the writer. But that is what life is about, questioning the world around you and making mistakes while doing so. That wasn’t an option when I was ‘A Legend’. You’ll understand the burden of that title throughout this book.
I would like to classify this book as an autobiography, but my eldest son says this is more of a hero’s journey. But as I expressed above, this is not that. I am neither a hero nor a villain, but both labels have been put upon my head. My question to you is what defines us as hero or villain, good or bad, evil or holy? We all do good things, but we also all do bad things, we make mistakes like any being in the universe does. Or like humans say, ‘You're just human’. You can do so many good things in the world, but you can make one mistake and suddenly you are classified as ‘Bad’, that is what my life was and still is. On one end your a hero, but to the apposing team your a villain. So which one are you? Who’s wrong, who’s right, is there neither a wrong or right? Who knows.
We always get a book on the side of either hero or villain, but can there be a both option? How about someone who just survived, someone who was ‘The Chosen One’ but threw that all away to live a life of safety and happiness with their children, someone who pushed away a so-called perfect family, someone who killed millions in battle because they were told they were bad people? How about someone who found out their entire purpose, their life, their title, and the people who they loved most was a complete and utter lie? Is that a hero story, or a villain story? I guess that's for you to decide.
(If you are reading this, thanks! If you have anything you think I should fix, let me know!)
