Rags2Riches: farm lifestyle
In case of a Backstory:
You grew up in a wealthy family, you had everything you wanted. You are a (trait) perfectionist but started to grew fond of the outdoors. You told your parents that you want a farm of your own, and they saw an opportunity. They did buy you a lot, but not a farm. They want you to earn money on your own and build your own farm from the ground up.
Set Up: 
Sim:
Create parents (Adult/Elder)(optional) and your heir (YA), siblings are optional.
Heir must have the Perfectionist & Loves Outdoors traits and a trait of your choice.
Heir may only begin with 1 main outfit. Underwear for swimming count as part of the 1 outfit. Something like a “sports bra” can also count as a top for hot weather and a swimsuit top. For sleepwear you can remove shoes and pants if you want.
Lot:
Bulldoze a 50x50 lot
Create at least 2 Main areas at the corners of the lot:
A “Park” area with a Bench, cheap grill, a table, one chair and a Bush. Fill the area with trees, grass, rocks, flowers as you please.
A “Sell Area”, must have 1 selling table (either the Selvadorada or City one). Fill area with any Trees, plants, statues of your choosing.
Optional: Fill the remaining 2 corners with plants, trees, garbage can, wash tub ect.• Remember to have a post box somewhere on the lot
If you have Outdoor Retreat, you may put a tent instead of a bench, if you so choose. Also place a fire pit to roast Fish on.
Start playing:
Move your Sim into the lot with freerealestate on cheat.
Set the funds to $0.
You may NOT sell or move anything on the lot once you have moved in, unless there is a build error (something blocking the sim to reach an area), remove any money gained by correcting an error.
If you have Outdoor Retreat your Sim may only grill and eat the fish they catch.• You may buy food from vendors.
Once the Welcome Wagon came and gave you fruitcake, your Sim must eat the fruitcake until non is left, whether they like it or not.
Your Sim must gather and harvest from around the area, so make sure you choose a lot with wild plants and gathering spots around.
You may only plant the plants you harvested from the Wild Plants or got while fishing. You may not buy seed packets yet, though Harvestfest seed packets are allowed. Once you have a more self-sustaining farm, you may buy seeds.
You may only travel or build if your Sim have 1,000 simoleons or more in their funds.
If you travel to other lots, you may stay there as long as you want to.
If someone invite you out, you may travel with that sim regardless of your funds.
Once you have built a house with a living area (incl a kitchen), bathroom and bedroom (3 main rooms), you may buy your sim a Dresser.
Once your Sim have a Dresser, they may “buy” new outfits.
If your Sim marry, the partner may not bring money in or work, until you have a more established farm.
When building, make sure your plants take up the biggest area. This is your farm.
Your Sim may never get a job, the Farm is their “Career”, you may do “Odd jobs” if you want to.
You may paint, make flower arrangements, make woodwork items or any other self-made items to sell.
The goal is to have a farm that you can live of comfortably without having a job.
There are no skills you have to max or Aspirations you have to complete, use all the aspirations to help you gain points to buy more traits.
You must research all the plants on your farm.
Optional:
At the start, build the “house” at back of the lot and have your garden in the middle and larger area of the lot. Once you made enough money to build a big house, move the house to the front of the lot and have your “farm” at the back.
You can add or remove things according to the game packs you have.
*You must try to have at least one plant of every type of plant on the farm.
*Hard to find plants, like ufo plant, and the alien (sixam) plants are not a must have though, but a bonus. Trashplants are also optional, you may grow one for the completion and then remove it if you want.
*You must also have at least 1 plant of every spliced plant option there is. These are learned through research.
These rules* do not have to be completed in one lifespan. Your descendants can add till the collection is complete.

The StoryBook Legacy Challenge
Each Generation is a new Chapter in the Book of Lives.
Overall Rules and Notes:
Lifespan: Normal
If you choose to make Same Sex Couples, make sure your Heir is set on Get Pregnant and the partner is set on Make Pregnant.
Even though there is Occult Children in this Legacy, they are not part of the Legacy Line. Abduction babies don’t count as eligible for Heir decisions.
Read Story for the next Generation, important for the Heir’s Childhood
Each heir must Practise Writing (PC or writing in journal) till they can write “non-fiction” books.
They must write a book named after their Generation’s title.
All these Book, plus urns must be kept in the heir’s inventory till last generation.
The last Generation’s Heir will have a mausoleum where the books and urns will be displayed.
Books should be written as elders, put all the children and Spouses/ Partners names in description.
If heir dies from accidental of emotional deaths before elder or before they could write the book, one of their children or partner can write it.
Money: You can choose how you want to play the family funds.

Goals:
Workaholic till Death.
Focus on work and skilling till end YA
Fall in love with an Adult Co-Worker, while still YA
Get married to Co-Worker after turning Adult. (and Co-Worker is Elder or close to)
Have 1 Pregnancy
Do not retire, but can use vacation days after the Last Days pop-up came.
Rules:
Live in the San Myshuno, can move apartments as you have more money
Have a Party for Every Birthday
Main Sim may not fix broken objects, just replace them. Spouse/Child may fix them.
Join Main Sim at work and work Late most Days, may work normal in Birthdays for Parties
Can only control other Family members when Main Sim is at home
Heir: Only Child/ First born from 1 Pregnancy

Generation 2: Parenting 101
Growing up, your parents wasn’t very present. Your Father died when you were young and your mom before you became a YA. The only time you and mom spend together was with music, listening to it together or making it: she on the piano, you on the violin. You want to work from home as a Writer and be a Super Parent to a big Family.
Career: Freelance Writer
Traits: Music Lover, Neat, Family-Oriented
Aspirations Complete: Super Parent, Bestselling Author
Skills Maxed: Writing, Parenting, Violin
Goals:
Have 1st Child soon after turning YA
Have at least 3 Pregnancies
Female Heirs may get married or just have children
Male heirs must have GF move in, or get married

Your Parent was/is a Star, you want to Reach the Stars! You want to explore space and maybe even find an Alien Planet and meet some native Aliens! You know there is Aliens living between us now!

Aspirations Complete: Nerd Brain, StrangerVille Mystery (with Spouse)
Skills Maxed: Rocket Science, Handiness, Video Gaming, Programming

Traits: Loves Outdoors, Loner, Vegetarian
Aspirations Complete: Outdoor Enthusiast, Freelance Botanist
Skills Maxed: Gardening, Flower Arranging, Herbalism, Wellness
Goals:

Growing up you were used to having a lot of Varieties. A Variety of meals, of siblings and partners for your mother. You want a simple life, one partner to grow old with and lots of pets.

Aspirations Complete: Soulmate, Friend of the Animals
Skills Maxed: Parenthood, Veterinarian, Pet Training

Aspirations Complete: Beach Life & Fabulously Wealthy

Goals:
Turn into a mermaid before becoming an Adult, but after having a Child

Have a mausoleum where the books and urns of the Legacy are displayed.
