Practice with oil pastels! I used shades or red to fill in the shoadows.
I'd love critiques and suggestions!

More oil pastels!
Whenever I feel brave enough to attempt drawing people, I like incorporating different colors to fill in the shadows. I made two others along with this one, but this one is my favorite of the three.

Not gonna lie, I'm really proud of how the red onion came out.
Self critiques: 1) I'm deeply ashamed of the lemon. 2) I don't know if the little tomatoes actually look like little tomotoes to someone who doesn't KNOW they're supposed to be little tomotoes 3) I tried to make the wall textured, like with peeling paint, and I don't think it came out that well.
Ending it on a good note: 1) That onion, MAN THAT'S THE BEST ONION I'VE EVER DRAWN! 2) I think the wooded table came out decent. 3) I don't think the bottle looks terrible...? I'm still trying to get the hang of glass/shine/reflection. 4) I really like contrasting colors, so I like how colors pop.
I love oil pastels. I'd love tips and critiques!

I think it's funny that I spend a butt ton of money on fancy pencils and erasers but end up using mechanical pencils lol
(also, I like the sharp lines and angles of the original character designs)

Probably the best cup I've drawn.
I love still art, whether it be on paper or canvas or through photography.
I saw this picture and loved it so much, I wanted to use to practice oil pastels. I unfortunately can't find the name of the original photographer. The subject/content is not mine, but this oil pastel version of the picture is.

One way my family bonds is through food. While my mom and dad cook and grill, my siblings and I help by making the sides, which includes pico de gallo and guacamole.
My girlfriend likes this guacamole I make with a Filipino twist. I get some patis and sinigang seasoning and mix it in with the salt and lemon juice.

There are tons of crape murtle trees around where I live. I've seen dark and light pink and white flowers growing from them. There's some murtle trees with white flowers that hang over the road and the flowers move like bells when its windy.

Most houses have porches full of plants and flowers where I'm from. I love neighborhoods where people have their own gardens and trade and gift each other with fruit, vegetables and flowers. My abuela's house has grape vines along the fence and organge and lemon trees in the front yard. We'd eat them whenever we were playing outside in the summer.
