ღ ღ Hey all. Little life update for you: It’s raining here, which means the pain from my fibro is acting up to hell and back. It also means that brain fog’s taken over my head, so I’m loopy/brainless as hell, too, so I don’t think rp’s gonna happen tonight. >.< Apologies for that, but fibro’s a dick and unfortunately it doesn’t care that I wanna write. 

I’ll be lurking, and I’ll hopefully be back to rping tomorrow if this damn disorder lets go of my brain. Thanks for understanding, and I love all of you for following my lovely little sad daughter here.

It was making a lot of sense now.  She had something to do with mental health.  “It’s been a journey, but yeah - I probably came to your world quite a lot when I was younger.  I don’t know if it’s strength so much as stubborn and spite.  But thank you.”  Against his paranoid judgement telling him to never let anyone inside his head - something told him she could be trusted not to abuse the permission.  So - he nodded.  “You can.”

     “THaNk you!” Her expression went from bright and carefree to soft and calm as she forced herself into lucidity and took his hand. She wasn’t there to poke around, just to see his system for keeping his thoughts in line, and barely traipsed through. Just a quick glance-- there were scars in some places, and others with doors blocked off that she steered clear of-- and within a few seconds she’d let go of his palm.

     “...it’s beautiful. i’m so glad you came out of iT oKay.” The strain of organizing herself had already caused her to lose her grip, and a hint of a headache began behind her eyes as she lapsed back into her usual ways. “i like your hEAd cAStlE.”

He smiled at her and kept petting the little kitten.  “She’s beautiful, thank you very much for taking time to make her for me.”  He leaned in a little conspiratorially after that.  “For what it’s worth, my head goes kinda rumbly too when my brain wanders.”

     “i’m soRrY. that feeling is AwFUl.” A few fish appeared near her hand, swimming through the air as they changed colors. “i rEMemBeR you. you came to mY WoRLd when you were hUrTIng. lots of people do. i remember ALl of you. yOU were special, though. YoU were vERy strong.” Voice brightening, along with the fish, she offered her hand. “can i sEE your HeAD now? i won’t make it wORsE, i PRoMIsE. i just wanna see how you mADE it OkAY.”

ₜₕₑₚₒcₖₑₜqᵤₑₑᵣ.

He’d gotten good at knowing when he was in the presence of someone of divine origin.  She was in that (very loose) category for sure, and while he’d never met her - she was being very kind.  Shane smiled gently.  “Did you make her?”  He asked, scritching behind the kitten’s ears with a skill only a cat owner could have really.  “Either way, thank you.  I actually adopt a lot of animals for that very reason.  Animals are very healing.  She’ll have a good home with me.”

     Delirium nodded vigorously, standing up a bit straighter with pride. “uh-HUh! she’s a little oFf, but she’s a gOoD kittle. she can tell when you’re DowN or when your bRaIN wants to wANdEr oFF, and she’ll come sIT with you and pURr a whole lot. her purr sounds like ruMbLies, really, rEAlY deep.” Her voice seemed to trail off for a moment before she added, “my head goes RuMBly sometimes when my bRaIN wANdErs.”

😿 - Whiner, always making noise and demanding attention

     The whining noise from the cat drew her straight to the floor, where she laid next to the poor little kitten. “what’s wRoNG, little floofle? are you sAD?” Delirium laid her hand out toward it as she looked up at the very tall man. “…why is he SaD? did he come from the bAD pLaCE, too?”

😻 - Loves everyone and everything, runs face and butt on anything it possibly can

     “KiTTY!!!!” Delirium squealed and carefully picked up the kitten, holding it as it rubbed it face against the bottom of her chin. “kITtY KiTTy KIttY!!! i’m going to name you PoRPingToN cUDdLEbotToM!” Eyes shining bright green and blue, she looked up at Death, beaming ear to ear. “THaNk yOooOOu! she’s so pERfEcT! you can sTAy and PlaY with her, too, if you wANT!”

     “yEs.” She spoke softly, her tone even and measured compared to her normal manner. “you should have nICe ThinGs. yOu went through so mUcH, and sOft tHInGs help me with that.” A small smile curled the corners of her lips as she looked up at him. “sometimes i make things, like batFrOGs or LIzarDrAGonS when i’m sAD. it hELPs to make things that make the world hAPpY. nICe pEoPLe like you deserve nIcE tHInGs.”
