I am once again in love with Catherine Feeny's hurricane glass. An album full of melancholy but not desperation. Though every song is about something tragic it is sung with a certain acceptance in her voice.There is bitternes but not at the world, more at the c'est la vie of it all. Its like rolling with the punches while the bruises are still fresh.

It is an extremely emotional experience eroded down by the myriad of emotionaly devestating experiences before it. Everytime i hear it I remember that I can still experience my emotions in a deep and intense way. Eroding everything down makes things easier but every once in a while we must scream to be heard but this album screams in a way i feel not many people can hear

No character design will ever fuck as hard as Revenant from Soulcalibur 3. Dude is a skeleton in renesaince gear with a cool hat and the one of the most unique fighting style in the games. He shows up, grunts a little, trues to kill you, fails. And we love him for that.

I have always been a bit too cynical for my own good but i've been trying to make an effort to actively appreciate things for a couple years now and there are a couple things that always come back. As a European i always take the time to admire the little history i can in every little town i find myself in. The church in the square, the abby near the park the historical buildings repurposed over and over for new generations to come. People call my country boring but there's a lot of beauty to be found in the little things.

The second thing i also really love are sleeping cats. The way they curl up, the little tongue sticking out, the jealousy invoking way the coil around comfortably in scoliosis inducing positions. And finally the way they stretch their paws whilst getting scratches.
