the dsmp fandom at its peak was such a weird time man. i always say this but it's such a completely random thing to go that viral, and the extent that it did was incomprehensible. like. hundreds of thousands of people would join to watch these people play a little block game. they ended up on the news multiple times. a flag from the minecraft game ended up at a trump rally. a fanfiction of the creators ending up catapulting a song to #1 with over a billion streams on spotify. there's just really no words to describe the 2020-2022 dsmp fandom
