Behind every animal-based product, there is a victim. Whether it be food, clothing, or in this case carpets, innocent animals are exploited needlessly.

Note: Although this video was filmed in Iran, NO country is innocent when it comes to exploiting animals.

AS DAWN breaks a procession of 12-foot dinghies, powered by outboard motors and steered by Iranian peasants. The Iranians come at daybreak, buzzing across the green water in small boats packed with goats. They deliver their victims to Omani traders.

After two nerve-racking hours spent dodging the Iranian coastguard on their way across the Strait of Hormuz, some of the smugglers reach their destination. As they approach the shore, an unearthly thudding and yelping drifts across the water: each boat is packed with 20-30 seasick sheep or goats, destined for the dining tables of rich Gulf Arabs or to be exploited for their hair.

Animal smuggling is the most common issue for majority of developing countries such as Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan. A high-quality Iranian carpet can cost tens of thousands of dollars, with antique rugs fetching even higher prices.Wool is not the only fiber used. Other animal hair products such as goat hair are also used along with cotton, which is common in foundation yarns.

Please stop paying for animal exploitation, cruelty and abuse.

A baby suckling on her dead mother. This is the cost of your animal milk, cheese and meat. Can't stop crying after watching this.

When is it going to stop. Human animals are causing so much harm to animals, to the planet, to other humans.

What can be more heart-wrenching than this video.

Does the visual have to be so painful to bring out compassion in us. Certainly the stories of every mother, every baby sent to slaughter will have same impact on us as this one had, only if we start treating them as sentient beings fully capable of experiencing & expressing emotions like us.

If you think being vegan is difficult, imagine being that baby lamb and other billion of farmed animal babies who are born to be separated from their mothers and to be raised (incessant abuses) to kill for their dead bodies. Such a Samsara 🥺!!

By Philip Wollen ~ Thank you Issa Griege for this share ~ No one's ours to consume ~ The grain we use to feed Animals that are solely bred just to be murdered for human selfish appetite pleasure could easily feed the world ten times over.

There should be no starving children and There should be no industrialized Animal manufacturing .

This needs to end now. Be someone who cares because if you aren't then you shall not see a beautiful future.

We humans are funny; In one time and place, we've claimed that animals aren't even conscious and don't feel pain, and in another that they possess almost psychic abilities! (As in the case of the moose hearing you say you're going out to hunt.) Why not just accept them as sentient beings in their own unique forms? Probably because the acknowledgement of how very similar they actually are to us would be terrifying and would induce such remorse that our collective guilt might prove unbearable.
