It took Angel a while to realize just how famous the Shaw Pack was. They understood that it was well-known amongst magic users, but it wasn’t like they were celebrities, right?

David especially is a big figure in the magical world. He’s a scary guy so people don’t typically approach, but they do stare. At first, Angel chalked it up to people just being intimidated or in awe, but eventually they realized that David was a well-known person.

One time they were out with Asher, who was recognized as the Shaw Pack beta by a younger shifter from a different pack. Asher flaunted and boasted to the kid while Angel stood by and watched. Eventually the mother came by and asked Asher if Angel was his mate. He proudly corrected her, saying: “oh no, this is David’s mate.”

The young shifter went wide-eyed, all of a sudden much more interested in the human. Asher just smiled at Angel with a look of pride.

Since then, Angel had noticed more that the looks they get are looks of admiration and respect because being with David earns them the same amount of respect. Unintentionally, Angel has become pretty well-known in the magical world too.
