hello guys <3 i've been absent for a looooong while but i want to know, how have you been doing?!
#i have some news on my part :)#namely being 4 days away from finally finishing med school!! and then there's only the board exam left to do and i'll finally start practic#the studies have really taken up almost my whole time and drawing has been shift to like...... fourth or fifth plan :/#regardless. i dont regret it because im currently loving what im studying. everything finally seems like its falling in place#if u remember the fwb situation ive mentioned a few times here before as well. thats also taking up a lot of my time ahah turns out#we really enjoy being around each other and always end up making time in our schedules to be together during the week so....#even though were technically not a item hes been great company and great inspiration. its amazing when you have someone who respects#and supports you and your dreams and pushes you towards your goals and towards being better#yeah. everythings feeling like its falling in place in my life and it has been feeling great :)

i am a big believer in letting music (and other media) come to you when you're ready for it. you may only know vaguely of an acclaimed beloved artist and suspect that you'd be into them but just... not ever get around to it. and then in 15 years one of their songs just hits you the right way and what a gift to suddenly have all of their works to explore! there is no hurry; what is good is always good.
#yessss#but tbh to me the feeling of returning to a cherished artist/ piece of media when you have lived a bit more in between#and going like 'ohhh now I understand this line' 'wow this character is so relatable how did I not like them before'#is unrivaled#it's like finding an old friend and just rekindling things as they were and making it even better I can't explain#it's the kind of thing that makes me really happy

everyday I spend in my residence in the hospital is a day closer to actual practice and that's honestly the only thing that's keeping me in this course
#truly I only endure studying medicine because I deeply believe that practicing medicine is infinitely rewarding#I hate being a student. I have no authority and no one really teaches you how to do stuff or allows you to. and I feel like I'm not in the#place for asking to do stuff#honestly can't wait to start working . thank god this is the last year already#Last year I had primary care residence and it was amazing bc my tutor would let me be hands on#I would help her with the appointments and whatnot and honestly it helped me a lot in building confidence#but now it feels like I'm losing that lmao

y’know what i’m gonna say it. tumblr is the superior social media site. follower counts are hidden/meaningless, there’s no way to make a profit and/or become an influencer. it’s just about looking at silly little images and making silly little comments.
