1-2-3-4 Legacy Challenge
The 1-2-3-4 Legacy Challenge puts a twist on the traditional Legacy Challenge by spanning across all four mainline Sims games:
One generation in TS1
Two generations in TS2
Three generations in TS3
Four generations in TS4
This adds up to 10 generations in total. The goal is to explore the evolution of The Sims gameplay over the years! There is more information below, but feel free to run with the idea — customize it to suit your playstyle and tell the story you want to tell!
If you play this challenge, share your progress with the hashtag #1234Legacy — we’d love to follow along!
HOW TO PLAY / SUGGESTIONS:
Play One Generation in TS1: Start with a single Sim, find a partner through gameplay, and have at least one child. If you have more than one, designate one Sim to be the "heir."
Moving to TS2: When you’ve chosen an heir, "move" your family to TS2. Recreate your Sims in CAS, matching their physical features, clothing, and personalities as closely as possible. Adjust your starting funds to match your TS1 net worth, build or buy your home, and continue the legacy! Think about your family's story as they transition from game to game. Consider writing out how and why your Sims "moved." Were they Simply looking for a change of scenery, or did they "time travel" to another world?
Moving to TS3: When your Gen 4 heir is a child (or teen), it's time to move on to TS3! Think about which Sims you would like to take with you, and why. Would they all move together or would some stay behind? Once you’ve decided, recreate your family, and adjust your starting funds.
Moving to TS4: Finally, when your Gen 7 Sim is ready, it's time to transition to TS4. Decide which Sims you will move, recreate your family, and adjust your family funds one last time. It's time for the final act of your Sims' legacy.
OPTIONAL CHALLENGE IDEAS:
The Sims 1: There are no money cheats, but you can use terrain manipulation to reduce your funds if you want a more difficult starting scenario. If you're feeling brave, try to reach the top level of your Sims' career — that's not easy in TS1.
The Sims 2: Try to reach the top level of your Sims' careers, and/or complete their lifelong aspirations. Lifelong aspirations are like a box of chocolates — you never know what you're gonna get. This adds an element of randomness that can make your story even more interesting.
The Sims 3: Try to reach the top level of your Sims' careers, and/or fulfill their lifetime wishes. Personally, I enjoy randomizing my Sims’ traits rather than selecting them manually. However, as always, you should do what is the most fun for you.
The Sims 4: Try to reach the top level of your Sims' careers, and complete all milestones for at least one aspiration per Sim.
If you're looking for more structure / optional challenges, simslegacychallenge.com is a fantastic resource. Pick and choose whichever rules you like best.
General Advice: To keep it fresh, consider choosing a different career/aspiration/etc. for each generation. Also, make sure to save often and create backups of your game at least once per generation — hopefully you will not need them. During my playthrough, The Sims 3 became corrupted and all of my sims stopped aging. 😢 Do not underestimate the time commitment that you’re making - Legacy Challenges can easily take hundreds of hours to complete.
Mini 1-2-3-4 Challenge: Don’t want to commit to 10 generations? Try the mini version:
1 generation in TS1
1 generation in TS2
1 generation in TS3
1 generation in TS4
This shorter version still spans multiple generations and games, but it’s quicker to complete!
Thanks for reading. Have fun telling your story!
This challenge was created (with love) by Pambikin and SilentxxBunny in February 2025.

Welcome back to another update of our legacy! Let's just jump right in!
In the last update, Rhea was finding comfort in her day-to-day life again. But, a part of her felt like it was still missing something.
Those feelings eventually sparked Rhea to prioritize herself a bit and go on a date with someone she matched with on Cupid's Corner. She wasn't so sure about dating a younger man, but she decided that there was nothing to lose (in a sense). So, she arranges for Charlie and Hugo to be taken care of and sets up a date with a man named Jeb Harris.
The date goes quite well! Jeb is a true gentleman and the conversation flowed easily. They enjoyed a meal together and got to know each other a bit. There was definitely some attraction there (okay, a lot) and they had pretty good chemistry too! Though it all went well, Jeb being a gentleman took things much slower than Rhea was used to. They parted with a simple hug. It was sweet, comfortable and romantic. Sure there was tension, sure she would have loved to kiss him. But she found herself content and even happy to have a slower pace with him.
The two of them kept chatting, getting to know each other as they could. With her busy schedule, it wasn't always easy to carve out the time so they spent some time between just over the phone. In the midst of all that, our little baby Annie aged up into an elder. Time really flies and her age showed with the whiteness in her coat.
A few days later, Jeb actually invited Rhea out on another date. It was another very sweet, comfortable date. They chatted easily, flirted innocently and things just felt ... comfortable. Rhea loved that she felt like she was safe whenever he was around and though her initial fear was a younger man being immature, she felt as though he was the most mature man she has met yet!
As the date progressed, Rhea and Jeb shared their first kiss. Rhea made the move as Jeb did have a bit of a shy side in terms of romance. He was a bit caught off guard, but in the end, it might have been the best kiss either of them had!
Despite things being slower in the beginning, the two of them did get a little out of hand after that. In fact, they ended up int he closet together, and well, things escalated quickly from there.
A couple days later, Rhea invited Jeb over (after both received a makeover) and asked him if he wanted to live with her. Yes, it was fast. But, Rhea was never one to hold back and she just knew Jeb was the man for her. More than she though Matt or even Robert ever could be. He excitedly agreed.
And after that, things *really* progressed! Jeb immediately proposed to her, stating that he had never felt something as strongly as this and that if they were to live together, he wanted it to be as husband and wife and for the rest of their lives. Though shocked, Rhea was ecstatic and, in true Rhea fashion, she decided they should just tie the not then and there. Why wait?
And with that, we welcome Jeb Levine to the family! His traits are good, outgoing, gloomy, relaxed and open-minded. Shortly after moving in with Rhea, he gained the loyal trait as well. He has the soulmate aspiration and feels as though that soulmate is most definitely Rhea. He didn't have a job when first moving in, but I decided to give him the celebrity manager career. He is a wonderful partner and step-father to the kids. And honestly, the only father figure Hugo has known. Only time will tell though if Rhea decides to let her eyes wander once again, or if Jeb truly is the one she has been searching for all along.
The next post will be a house reno and be posted shortly after this, so go check that one out too!
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed and as always, I will see you all soon! Sul Sul! ♥♥♥

Welcome back to the Hot Tea legacy with Rhea, Charlotte, Annie and little Hugo! Let's get into it!
It really is a blessing that Hugo was equally as calm as his older sister. Rhea was able to wrap him onto her chest and run the bakery while Charlie was at preschool. It wasn't always easy, but it certainly was easier than she initially feared.
Charlie certainly kept her busy when she was home, though. She was full of energy at the best of times and kept Rhea on her toes constantly. At one point, Rhea tried to sneak to the bathroom only to find that in those two quick minutes she was on the toilet, Charlotte took all her clothes off and ran out the door. Time to baby proof!
But it wasn't all wild with Charlie. In fact, there was some very sweet, calm moment with her as well. Moments that Rhea treasured and will always treasure. Charlie would giggle and share little stories of her day or repeat words she heard. They practiced counting, colours and shapes and Charlie was a whiz! She truly was a gift.
The newborn stage really does go by faster than anyone would like! Little Hugo grows a ton of hair and is absolutely precious! He gains the cautious trait.
Charlotte wasn't the most thrilled about a little brother in the beginning, but now that he was able to do a little bit more, she had a bit more interest. Rhea's heart swelled as she watched them playing from the kitchen. She heard the giggles and coos and hoped moments like this will be burned into her memory forever.
Yes, life had found a new comfort, a new pace. The bakery was still doing exceptionally well, the kids were happy, and Rhea even had the odd moment to get outside on a jog with Annie. Somehow her life had come together again and she was grateful for it. Yet, she still couldn't help but miss the romance and knew that was the last piece of her puzzle.
Who will Rhea meet? Will they fit in as well as she hopes? Only time will tell!
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed! I will see you all very soon with the next one! Sul Sul! ♥ ♥ ♥

A new day, a new post! Welcome back to the Levine Hot Tea legacy! We are back with Rhea and Charlotte who are thriving despite their difficult situation!
Time really does fly! Today was Charlie's birthday! She was going to be a toddler and Rhea was sparing no expense! She made her birthday cake herself, and decorated the house with balloons and presents! She invited a few friends and of course, Matthew to celebrate.
Charlotte Levine ages into a gorgeous toddler - which of course, was to be expected! She gains the wild and independent traits.
Rhea goes for her regular check-ups and decides to find out the gender of her baby. She is expecting a little boy! The idea of raising a baby boy on her own is a bit daunting, but if he is anything like Charlotte, she figures it will be pretty easy.
Then, she stocks up the shelves of the bakery and maxes the baking skill! At this point she has already maxed the cooking skill as well.
Rhea's good friend, Naomi joins her at the ultrasound. And, since she was single and the pregnancy was progressing quickly, she also asked if Naomi would attend the birth with her. Of course, she agreed knowing that her friend needed her support, it was a no brainer! Rhea couldn't be happier to have at least on good friend in her life.
Despite her career progressing well, having a dog and a toddler definitely made it tricker to get her shelves stocked! Rhea absolutely loved the company, love and joy of raising her daughter (and her trusty pup!) but she could definitely see how having a partner could be useful in this situation.
With that in mind, Rhea joins Cupid's Corner to get herself out there in the dating world. She met both Matthew and Robert in her own bakery and neither of those ended in the best way, so perhaps doing something different would be the solution!
But first, labour! Rhea's labour progressed much slower this time around. The contractions felt more intense and there were far less breaks in between them. Yet, it took a lot longer for things to progress and it felt like ages since they arrived at the hospital before she was ready to push. Thank goodness that Matthew was onboard to take Charlie and Naomi was there with her right until the end!
In the end, it was very much worth it! Rhea held the tiny little boy in her arms and she and Naomi shed some tears. They welcomed the little one into the world with relief. Little Hugo Levine was finally here!
With two babies, a dog, a bakery to run and a house to take care of, Rhea certainly has a lot on her hands! Here's hoping she can take it all on!
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed! And I will see you all soon with the next one! Sul Sul! ♥ ♥ ♥

Welcome back to the Levine Hot Tea legacy! We are checking in after Rhea decided to call it quits with Matthew. How will her life continue from here?
After her separation and divorce from Matthew, Rhea had to fill her time (that wasn't with Charlie or the bakery) with hobbies to help her clear her head. On one of her runs, she meets a stray, young dog. The sadness and desperation pulled at her heart and she decided to take her home. Welcome, Annie!
Though it was absolutely the best choice in the end, a divorce is not easy for anyone. She still had a life, a partner and a friend to grieve. The two did decide that while Charlie (Charlotte) was still an infant, she would stay in full custody with Rhea, however, as she ages they will have to revisit custody and what it might look like in the future. Rhea knew that this was another massive adjustment to come.
Yet another shock comes when Rhea discovers that she is expecting a child with Robert. She is of course happy to welcome another child into her life, but she is concerned about what Robert might think...
Charlotte is growing so quickly and it felt as though she blinked and where there was a tiny bundle who could barely lift her arms, there is now a fully mobile infant!
After bedtime for the little one, Rhea invited Robert over for a date and to tell him the big news. Since they were expecting, Rhea hoped that he would be willing to be a family with her, Charlie and the new baby. So, she laid the charm on thick before even broaching the subject. However, it did appear that Robert had suspicions before she officially said...
When Rhea finally did broach the subject, Robert quickly dismissed the entire situation and left. Rhea knew it was for good.
As time went on, Rhea's business was running smoothly, Charlotte was growing more and more independent, and her pregnancy was going smoothly and quickly as well. Being a single mom was not quite what she imagined for herself, but at least Matt was still very much involved with Charlie. Perhaps one day, Rhea will meet someone to step into that role for her new baby on the way as well.
I know it's a shorter one, but we are going to leave it here today! Stay tuned for the next update tomorrow!
Thank you for reading, and I hope you all enjoyed! Sul Sul ♥♥♥

Its been a little bit, but we are back! Rhea just gave birth to her daughter Charlotte and life is about to get real busy!
Life with a baby means absolute chaos! Rhea is still actively working on her business and finding a lot of success. But added to that now, she is also a full time mom. Thankfully, Matt also enjoys doting on his daughter, and that gives Rhea time to run the business. However, Rhea does try and keep her close to her when she can, feeling very protective of her little one.
And, as you probably noticed, Charlotte ages up into an adorable little infant. She gains the calm trait which is a wonderful thing for two very busy parents!
Pretty much the next large amount of time is spent working, backing and of course, spending time with their precious girl. She seems to learn quickly, but that doesn't make it easy to balance everything. In fact, Matt and Rhea hardly have time for each other and if they aren't working, they're taking shifts with Charlotte so the other can get a bit of "quiet" time.
The hard work is paying off though! Rhea's business is thriving and the family is able to make sure they are living comfortably while also having a bit of extra money to use where it is needed.
Things are going really well for the family, but Rhea has an issue. She cannot get this silver fox out of her mind. He showed up to the bakery one day and ever since his charming accent and looks has Rhea absolutely smitten! In a moment of weakness, she asks him to join her on a date, and surprisingly he agrees (he is married as well). The date isn't the most successful, but it does go well.
There is a bit of a language barrier, but one of the universal languages is romance and Rhea is quite fluent in that! They share their first kiss before Rhea heads home late into the night. This isn't fairing well for either of their marriages...
After a bit of time passes, Rhea starts to feel an overwhelming sense of guilt. She hates that she cheated but at the same time, she *still* can't get Robert out of her mind. He is intoxicating and even though it was a short date with just a little kiss, she can't help but want more.
She focuses on little Charlotte who is growing like a weed. Watching her hit her milestones is definitely what keeps her sane in these moments.
Ultimately, she decides if she wants Robert this badly, it's time to come clean with Matt.
When Matthew gets home from work that day, Rhea asks him to have a conversation with her. He is immediately annoyed with her which catches her a bit off guard and does not look good for the direction of their conversation.
After telling him the news, Rhea breaks down. Matt was angry at first, but then acts very off-putting my cheerily stating that he thinks they just need to separate for a while. This confuses Rhea greatly.
After trying to understand, Rhea finally just says rather than separating she feels its best to just end their marriage. They have hardly been a couple since even before Charlotte's birth and Rhea doesn't want to walk on eggshells, she wants to live her life! To this, Matt is furious, but her mind is made up. Shortly thereafter, Matt packs his things, along with Milton, and gets a small apartment in Evergreen Harbour; leaving Rhea and Charlotte on their own.
Though it was her choice and she doesn't necessarily regret it, Rhea needs time to process. She opts to send Charlie to daycare from time to time to allow herself some time to grieve the end of her marriage. She was so sure Matt was the one for her, and now she is thinking that it could be Robert. Yet, he is still married and they haven't been in contact as much as she hoped they would be. How has her life gone from perfect to... well, this?
And this is where I leave you for today! Will Rhea's life come together again, or will it be left in shambles after a whirlwind romance and even messier divorce?
Thank you for reading and I will see you all very soon!

It's that time again! Hello and welcome to the next part of the Levine Hot Tea Legacy challenge! Rhea just had told Matt that she is pregnant and they bonded over the love of their child!
Life couldn't get sweeter for the little family. Matt and Rhea are thrilled to be expecting a child, but it did bring up some feelings for Matt that he had been trying to repress. He missed his daughters from his previous marriage. So, he arrange for his older daughter, Valerie to come and spend some time with him on the weekend. He was so thrilled to see her again, and the feeling was mutual!
Rhea felt a little shocked at first, but then it warmed her heart to see her baby daddy loving his kids so much and she knew without a doubt he would be the same with her baby.
After a few short weeks running a little bakery stand, Rhea was finally able to put enough money together to open up a little bakery off the side of her home. She admired the work and effort before heading to the kitchen to get it stocked and ready for the official opening!
To celebrate all the wonderful things, the two of them went on an evening date to the park. Matt finally decided to work up the courage to ask Rhea to be his girlfriend, and once again, life seemed absolutely perfect.
Rhea had her first day in her "actual" bakery and it went super well. She got a good review, managed to calm a disruptive customer, and made a decent amount of money.
Rhea went for her final checkup and decided to ask the gender of her baby in the end. She discovered that she is expecting a little girl, and though Rhea has never been the most "girly" she couldn't be more thrilled to have a little girl to spoil!
It felt like she barely left the hospital when all of a sudden she felt a wave of pain and knew she needed to get to the hospital. Matt followed, but was a bit useless at first (surprisingly).
The doctor wasn't able to get good readings on the baby, but assured Rhea everything would be okay. She opted for the epidural knowing that there was no way a drug-free birth was in her best interest.
The labour seemed to be progressing well, and rather quickly. Perhaps it was the whirlwind of emotions that flowed through her, or maybe it was the mysterious inheritance that was taunting her to get married, but she spontaneously proposes to Matthew and then they immediately get married in the hospital. Ironically, his ex wife is a obstetrician here as well - maybe that was also some motivation?
Before the day was out, Rhea was ready to push! She welcomed her beautiful daughter into the world in the early hours of the morning. They chose to name her Charlotte, and though they just got married, Rhea opted to give her daughter her maiden name, Levine. Welcome to the work little one!
And with that, we wrap up our story here for today! With a new baby, a new business and a new marriage, will things continue as well as they have been? We shall know very soon!
Thank you for reading everyone! Sul Sul ♥

Welcome back to the Hot Tea legacy! Today we are going to rejoin Rhea where she just found out she was expecting her first child with her live-in uh... buddy? Let's see how that works out for her!
Rhea works on creating a family recipe and successfully creates a chili with some remedy properties! now to pass it down. Matthew meanwhile is still in the dark about her pregnancy but Rhea has chosen to wait until his work day is over before she shares.
She gets an invite to hang out with a few friends in the next little while, first a man who has invited her for some "family time"? They get along well either way, and Rhea hardly leaves the lot, so it was a nice change.
After Matt gets home and Rhea returns from her friends, she finally tells him about her pregnancy. He is unsurprisingly thrilled about it despite them not actually being a couple.
The end the night by laying together talking about the nursery decor, and their future as a family; giving some much needed hope to Rhea for their future.
The second friend comes by in the evening and her name is Naomi. Rhea has never really been a "girls girl" but I get the same vibe from Naomi. Besties in the making?
And, Rhea reaches her second trimester where she opts to find out the gender of her baby. A little girl will be joining the family soon! Rhea couldn't be happier in these moments. Things are going exactly the way she planned. Well, mostly.
And that is where we end it for now! A reminder that there will be a queue coming, so hopefully you enjoy consistent content haha! Either way, I will see you all soon! Sul Sul! ♥

Nightmare Legacy Challenge for the Sims 4
Rules written by @matchacake, challenge inspired by @lilsimsie‘s current LP over on her YouTube channel!
The challenge is simple – complete 10 sim generations with the same family, but on short lifespan! Complete the challenge on story mode or nightmare mode for even more suffering!
Disclaimer: This is by no means a new take on the classic legacy challenge, and I’m sure there are many other challenges out there that are very similar! I’ve just been binge-watching lilsimsie’s current LP whilst suffering a bad flare-up of my chronic illness and felt so inspired that I pulled out my old gaming laptop so I could play something similar in bed! Now that I’m going into gen 2 I thought I would write up some rules that I could personally follow, and have decided to share them here with you. xo

Welcome back to the Hot Tea Legacy! Its going to be a blitz for the next little while as I queue up some posts I have on backlog, so hope you enjoy the constant content for now!
The next few days were a bit of a whirlwind for Rhea and Matthew alike. Despite being married with kids, Matthew can't seem to keep away from Rhea. He comes consistently to her bake sales and then even spent a couple holidays with her!
One of those faithful days, his wife also happens to come to the back sale and well, needless to say, she was not happy.
After a date with him, Rhea realizes that he is even more hesitant to go home. She knows its fast, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and Rhea immediately offers for him to come and live with her while they work out the separation and potential divorce. Not surprisingly, Matthew agrees.
Matthew Knight joins the household with his faithful pup, Milton. He settles in quickly and Rhea immediately goes about cooking him some homemade meals to help make him feel even more welcome.
Matthew is family-oriented, naive, impulsive, active and outgoing. He has the soulmate aspiration which is perhaps why he fell so hard and fast for Rhea.
Shortly after Matt joining the household, Rhea discovers that she is expecting her first child! Things are really starting to feel real now! How will Matt react to having a child with her so soon? They aren't even an official couple! Surely things will be alright, right?
And that's where I will leave it for now! I hope you enjoyed and we will see you all very soon! Sul Sul! ♥

Hey everyone! Welcome to my newest corner of the internet - the Levine family Hot Tea Challenge! I will give a bit of a precursor that I am not sure how closely I will follow all the rules for the whole challenge, but as of now, we are following it pretty closely! So welcome in, stay a while, and I hope you enjoy!
Our founder of the generation is Rhea Levine. As per the rules, she has the lovebug, cheerful and family-oriented traits. I also added the master baker and appealing traits since I have a mod that allows for more traits. Her aspiration is the Romantic Explorer (reach level 10 in the romance skill) and her main goal is to run a successful bakery.
Here is the link to the rules, but bare in mind there will be spoilers. The original rules are by @lxdice and you can find her challenge on youtube as well!
Rhea's favourite colours are red and yellow, and since she is a cheery sim, I like to think that she likes to show off the brightness in her outfits as well! As for the rest of her personality, that will come!
Her first week in town goes pretty well! She is doing great with her bakery stand (Rhea's Treats) and meets some people. She enjoys herself most when she is able to just go for peaceful walks and leave the pressures of running her stand behind for a bit.
One person who has been a loyal customer and catches her eye is a man named Matthew Knight. He is married, but their chemistry is just so intense it isn't surprising when they share their first kiss.
Meanwhile, Rhea starts to feel some symptoms that are affecting her career so she decides to go to a specialist. She discovers that she has ADHD and all I could say is, "same girl, same."
Things heat up with Matthew and the two spend a lot of intimate time together. At this point it doesn't seem like things will go farther than just an intense romance on the side of his marriage, but they do discuss having a child together to which Matthew is actually in agreeance! Unfortunately though, there has not been any success in that yet.
To wrap it up, I see my first every burglar in ts4 and its fricken Nancy Landgraab. How is that not surprising? She actually steals Rhea's bakery stand and I was LIVID. Thankfully, the police came and arrested her which meant we were able to get our source of livelihood back!
And that's it for this first post! I hope you enjoyed, and I will see you real soon with some more updates! Sul Sul! ♥

Hello! Welcome back to Belladonna Cove! Today we are going to stop into the Riley AND the Cho families! Let's get right into it!
Timothy and Sally enjoy a quiet breakfast before going their separate ways to work/school. They have a really sweet relationship, and Timothy really moved here to give Sally a good start to her life. However, things take an unexpected turn and he winds up falling in love...
Vivian Cho is not only a co-worker and neighbour, but she has a similar story in which she is a widower with a young daughter. The two instantly connect and ultimately fall in love. Though they prioritize their daughters over everything, they both know that have two parents for their daughters would be ideal.
Its not surprising that they wind up in bed together that night, and decide that they should make it official between them. Becoming an official couple.
Time goes by rather quickly and for the first time since either of them moved to the city, they leave the girls with a sitter and head on a sunset date at the local park. They share some laughs, some cuddles and kisses and then...
Timothy decides, why wait? They both know how quickly life can take unexpected turns, so he goes for it and asks Vivian to marry him! She eagerly accepts and they become engaged.
We swap over to the Cho household to catch them up to where the Riley family is. Vivian spends time with her daughter Etsu. She focuses on her skills for a little while knowing that soon it wont be just the two of them anymore.
And sooner than they think, they decide to buy a house together and give their daughters the life they both wanted. The girls were not really sure about the change (Etsu being too young to understand and Sally being used to being the centre of attention...). But Timothy and Vivian were hopeful and excited to combine their families.
And, to end their rotation, in the same spirit as their engagement, the two get married in a little ceremony with just their daughters that same evening. Making their new home that more special for them! Only time will tell what else will be in store for this new family!
Thank you for reading and all the love on my previous posts! I hope you enjoyed and we will see you soon!

Hello!! Today we start the first official first round of my megahood! Welcome to Belladonna Cove. The first hood in the series. Let's zoom into the very first family, the Clevelands.
The Cleveland family, if you are not familiar, consists of Marissa, Jason and their son Justin. Marissa comes from a wealthy family and has thus stayed home with Justin. Jason works in law enforcement and has high hopes for himself and his family. Justin is a pretty typical teenager and though he has a decent relationship with his parents, he does keep a bit of a distance. Marissa is a fortune sim who hopes to be the head of a successful family. She is a snob, bookworm, perfectionist, charismatic and ambitious. Jason is a fortune sim with a family secondary. He hopes to earn 100k and is brave, good, flirty, family-oriented and ambitious. Justin is a popularity sim and is light sleeper, shy, friendly and athletic.
We come in to Marissa Cleveland deciding that perhaps her stay-at-home mom's life has come to an end. She searches the job postings, but unfortunately her choice in business was not available.
The family is very much close-knit for the most part and very cutely spend most of their mornings sharing a meal together before parting ways for the day. Justin isn't overly close with his parents, but definitely seems to appreciate them as much as a typical teenager might.
After his first day back to school in the fall, Justin asks to invite Rick Contrary over. They don't really get along however, and struggle to make any kind of friendship before Rick leaves.
Very unexpectedly and before Marissa was even to secure a job, she starts to show signs of a possible pregnancy. She and Jason were never the type to prevent such things with the mindset of what should happen, will happen. However, with them aging, neither of them expected another pregnancy - especially after so much time between now and Justin's birth. Still, she cannot help but feel a twinge of excitement to be a mother again.
Marissa shares the news with Jason once her suspicions are confirmed soon after. At first, it appeared that he was too much in shock to fully react, but it was soon apparent that he shared the same excitement as Marissa. Interestingly, neither of them really speak to Justin about the new baby...
Jason works hard to improve his career, make some friends, and otherwise just be... a bit strange? Either way, hopefully things continue to improve so that they can secure their financial futures moving forward.
Time flies and right before the fall comes to an end, Marissa welcomes a little girl into their family. They choose to name her Marnie. With Jason and Justin, it felt right to name their little girl with a name that began with an M, and looking into her little face, it was clear that it was a perfect name. Welcome to the world, little one.
______________________________________________________________
And that is all for this one! I know that this is a super short update, but honestly, I am working on how I want to style/organize my posts. So hopefully everyone can bare with while I figure that out! Thank you for all the love and support on the blog so far! Hope you continue to enjoy <3

Hey everyone! Welcome to Ravenwood Lake ! This is my historical custom hood where we attempt a rags to riches style gameplay with multiple families establishing a community.
We are with our (technically second family but I lost photos for the first) Pembroke family. Meet Cecil and Edith!
A quick note: I did play a round of these families off screen so that I can get everyone established - hence why we are starting on round 2!
Cecil came from a very hard working family. He was raised to appreciate the hard work and know that it brings the success he craves. However, he was also born to a large family. This was something he and Edith shared in common. Thus, neither one of them had much to start their own lives with. Edith has a joy for life that Cecil didn't know he craved. And together, they make an unlikely, but compelling match. They both dream of a life that will allow their family to shine.
Cecil is a knowledge sim with a hope to be a great teacher one day (to his family and not necessarily in a school). He loves the outdoors, is an angler, a vehicle enthusiast (wagons?), and loves the heat. He is also literate (hence the reading).
In this playthrough, I decided that 4 traits were standard and that perhaps adding a fifth would be a bonus due to certain things happening.
Edith is a popularity sim who wants to make 20 best friends. She is quite good at making friends despite her ... interesting mix of traits. She is hot-headed, easily-impressed, mooch and inappropriate. She is also illiterate.
Though these two are an unlikely match, as stated before, they do quite love one another a lot. And, it is with no great surprise that they discover they are expecting their second child. Yes - they do have a newborn son already named Arthur James. However, I sucked at taking pictures this time around so... yes.
Their role in town is to do wheat farming. So though they did not have much money to begin with, they hope to find wealth eventually here in Ravenwood Lake. Unfortunately, due to wheat only growing in the spring, they have to live on their savings until that point and it is currently fall.
Bad luck is definitely something this young family experiences often. They keep losing a ton of their fields to various tragedies like flood. Leaving them to either try and replace the fields or potentially have nothing left before they are even able to fertilize their fields.
Meanwhile, Edith's pregnancy is progressing quite well. She will be due soon and though she feels the typical troubles of constant hunger and tiredness, she is still able to maintain her daily chores and never reaches a point of desperation. Keeping it in mind that she also has a newborn son to which his responsibility lands on her, she is doing incredibly well!
The family gets a ROS roll in which someone has to try their hand and writing. Since writing was particularly a male endeavor, and he is the only literate sim in the home, it falls on Cecil. Being a knowledge sim though, he seems to quite enjoy it! He starts on his first of 2 that the ROS dictates for him.
Before long, it is time to celebrate Arthur's first birthday (and see him for the first time on the blog lol). Edith does the honors and seems all together way too excited to help him out of the newborn stage.
He ages into an adorable little lad with a very good mix of his parents' genetics. He gains the slob trait though which means he could be an interesting heir for the family in the future.
Unfortunately, the family's terrible luck continues. *Sigh* when I say that I was infuriated and also completely taken aback, its pretty much an understatement.
Tragedy strikes and both Cecil and Edit lose their lives int he fire. Unable to escape.
Once the fire goes out, Arthur gets taken into an orphanage - something I never saw before in game and something I never wanted to see in game...
At this point, I am unsure what to do about him. I might have to add an orphanage just so he can one day come back to his family home...
And unfortunately, that is the end of the Pembroke family - literally. In the next post we will meet the Lytton family, good friends of the Pembrokes.
Hopefully they will experience far better luck...
