I genuinely think the idea that if you should draw a little every day or you'll suffer skill degradation is a total fabrication. Some of the best art I've ever drawn has been coming back from long breaks. I'm talking like weeks. Sometimes you just gotta reset and flush the systems. There's no shame in it. Take breaks. The art will be there for you when you're ready.

For those of you who helped out with donations for my wheelchair, I have a cool update for you!!!

I now own a wheelchair!👨‍🦽

I'm still paying it off technically since I didn't have the funds on my own, but it's in my house and being incredibly helpful for me - I've already used it to go into town and do some shopping, it was a hell of a learning curve and I totally didn't crash in an elevator (⁄ง⁄ ื⁄▿⁄ ื⁄)ว

I've also already started to decorate it haha

The donation page will still be open since I'm still paying it off, but I thought you guys should know I'm not stuck at home as much as I was before! I'm doing good <3 I'm super happy with my wheelchair and I would never have gotten this far without everyones help!

Since from what i've seen that Tumblr is doing a slow roll-out of their new UI update, do you plan on updating the userstyle to fix that?

It is physically impossible for me to return the full note count - so all I can recommend is keep complaining at them https://www.tumblr.com/support

It looks like tumblr has fucked with the notes for a lot of people! Not everyone has this update yet It uh... Completely removes the full notes number count and separates them into replies, reblogs and likes - I can't bring this back unfortunately and frankly it pisses me off

Why on earth do we need the SAME information twice??? Why do I have to do math for the total notes count. This is stupid!

I've already had multiple people asking me why clicking the heart just likes the post instead of opening the 'likes-list', because they don't realise that thats the like button anymore - because it looks exactly like the likes-list button used to.

Anyway if this annoys you as much as me, feel free to message tumblr support about it

if you've never engaged with a creative art on a regular basis you need to understand that it requires concerted effort to get into "the groove" to make something and every second that it takes to get into that groove causes physical pain, but the only thing worse than doing it is not doing it.

When you're debugging code, there are a number of possible scenarios, in order of increasing scariness:

The code works, but with some known issues.

The code doesn't work, but I know why.

The code used to work, but I know what changed.

The code used to work, failed, and I fixed it so it works again, but now that I fixed it I'm not sure how it EVER worked before.

The code works, even though it clearly shouldn't, and I don't know why.

Just fixed a #6 issue at work so I'm a little shook.

Computer is finally back up and running!! That took.... so much work... Unfortunately, I had to entirely restore to factory settings since it turned out an update had corrupted something to the point of no return! Thankfully though I managed to save a lot of my files. It did not want to update after I finally got it working again which was a whole mess yesterday, but it's fixed. I'm free. Whooh.... I need a coffee lol

It's been ages since I posted any of my art to my Tumblr LOL most of my actual art projects right now are somewhat NDA, so I can't share any of it 😭 Just know I'm still doing art! My pixel art is THRIVING right now! I will definitely share it someday!!!
