I love this theory. And even if it's not canon, I'll love DFO.

The fact that the pattern in the spot can be understood in different ways is even kind of funny Hisashi Midoriya left his mark on Izuku lol
Or tie it to Afo’s quirk, because his holes look like spots, but this is completely out of the question, I’m just laughing😂❤️
But if you think about it, this umbrella perfectly describes Izuku from the point of view of dfo. At the first glance at the character, he seems to be a complete copy of his mother in everything, Izuku’s umbrella, like Inko’s, is white, BUT, the more and better we get to know Izuku, the more different he has Izuku has enough features that are not similar to Inko, but similar to Afo. We open the DFO by umbrellas...there’s nowhere to go any lower
Three umbrellas (theory)
(Maybe it's a silly theory)
The three umbrellas were there from the beginning.
But their style has changed.
That style of umbrellas could also be related if the end of mha is really Izuku's imagination or illusion.
Either Horikoshi did it on purpose or he forgot what umbrellas he drew at the beginning of the manga. (But he didn't forget that there were three umbrellas here.)
If I focus on the dfo theory, the black umbrella would definitely belong to the AFO.
The handle of the umbrella agrees.
However, in the manga, the umbrella looks gray and not exactly black. But in the anime, the umbrella is black.
And by the time Afo found Tenko, surely ''Hisashi'' was still present with his family.
What do you think?

I completely agree with you! I would also like there to be such a parallel between the former hero number two and Afo! And one of the reasons why I was disappointed by the end is that their society has not changed at all. I will add that Bakugo, in my opinion, has not changed either just as loud and rude, but for some reason he probably takes the place of hero number 1? Izuku played an important role in the battle, they erected a statue of Monoma, but what about Izuku? Why did only Izuku’s classmates chip in for his costume? Damn their whole world should have chipped in for this damn costume!😡
You may not agree with me about Bakugo, but I will be adamant.
Given how the series has ended, I’m gonna be honest about my thoughts on DFO. Specifically, what take on DFO I like and why I like it.
I love the DFO interpretations where AFO genuinely and truly loves Inko and Izuku with all his heart and would do terrible things for them. This is because I feel like Izuku, and Inko to some extent, have been screwed over and unfairly bashed both in-universe and out. Their world’s society and culture absolutely FAILED them and the way fans shit on them for being kind characters working through their flaws is honestly so gross to me. So I feel like having a husband and father who absolutely adores them, sees past these shortcomings, and recognizes their worth is oddly comforting and cathartic to me.
As someone once said “A hero would sacrifice you for the world, a villain would sacrifice the world for you”, and that level of devotion and love is just one of those things that even if it’s unhealthy or not necessarily morally right, it just appeals to me so damn much.
Not only that, but I feel like the concept of an AFO who really does love his family holds a mirror to the kind of culture that permeates the society the Midoriyas live in. If someone practically revered and upheld as a role model, like Endeavour, is an abhorrent man to the people he should’ve loved and protected while someone who’s the fucking Symbol of Evil adores them to no end…what does that say about Hero Society and the culture it’s bred and kept alive? What kind of culture would consider an abusive and controlling patriarch as someone to look up to? What would drive someone to go off the deep end to the point that they obsessively cling on to the few people who gave them positive attention while not batting an eye at condemning everyone else?
All in all I like the “DFO who really does love Inko and Izuku” take because it feels like a fresh air towards the mistreatment of two characters who don’t deserve it (at least I don’t think they do) and because I feel it fits in with the themes that BNHA has…or at least seemed to have until the ending where the status quo remained…
Then again, this is just my opinion, so maybe I’m wrong. But I will stand by it.

So I am loving the ending to My Hero more and more all the time. I’m re-watching the first couple episodes of the anime right now and it’s SO APPARENT just how full circle the ending is.
LOOK AT THIS. THE MOMENT IZUKU RECEIVES ONE FOR ALL.

AND THE MOMENT HE LOSES THE EMBERS.

He’s smiling and content in both. Happy to have had the opportunity to live the dream.
There are so many other parallels, but I just about threw my phone when I saw the framing on this.
