Research and Development 2
Roughs for the frame by frame animation segment of my proof of concept shot, along with finishing my beats for the third act are the major progress points I have made so far!

Research and Development 1:
A lot of work has been done since the last overall presentation! Firstly, I have gone back and done more character sketches to be presented with the personalities for each one of them. As far as the powerpoint goes, that work has been added into it, along with a slight change for the bigger titles font wise, so they pop out and fit the style of the film better. Along with that, beat sheet boards are being worked on, along with myself boarding at least the beginning of the film.

World:

PepperTony's Pizza: Think of if McDonalds and Chuck E Cheese combined into the ultimate local business, all while looking somewhat worn down. You got PepperTony's Pizza! While we only see this in the opening from both the commercial the film starts on, and the first shot we see TT, you can soak in all you need to know about how this hole in the wall probably has the best pizza you've ever had!

The Big City: The main setting throughout is more or less akin to Brooklyn, since a wide amount of pizza places reside there, along with that part of the city usually being busy in the streets. While it may be generic apart from its maze like structure, the setting is here solely as a setup for the main characters, rather than the catalyst.

The Sewers: Again, about as simple as you could think of for a Sewer. With spherical tunnels though, it'll make saving time so much easier for TT, all while getting some sweet tricks pulled off in the process!

Construction Site: Having a skyscraper currently being built next to their house, The Knight can't help but make some use out of it to foil TT! With a wet bed of cement only a few hundred feet into the construction zone, surely he can find a way to steer TT into it, right?

The Knight's Hideout (His Mom's House): Beware ye who enter! While The Knight's Mother (Bethany) rules the ground floor and has the house looking lovely, a not as nice view awaits downstairs in the form of The Knight's Secret Hideout! Having put all of his money towards his drone and PC equipment to run said drone, his bedroom might need a little cleaning up. But who has time for that when you're an elite hacker?

Tony-Tron:
Tony-Tron, or TT for short, is a fast food delivery robot, the restaurant TT working at being PepperTony’s Pizza. With that, he only has one main goal, delivering food in under 30 minutes all around the city! Being hardwired to do whatever it takes with a can do attitude, TT will always improvise ways out of situations if it means he can make his boss happy, and the customers a little disappointed by how fast he’s able to do so. The last thing TT would want is for PepperTonys to lose money! Being the quick thinking problem solver he is, can TT beat the clock?
Everyday Place: PepperTony’s and going all around the city
Deep Desire: Follow his programming to deliver pizza on time.
Fears: Missing the delivery time.
He never talks so there’s no catchphrase for him.
The Knight:
The Knight, a self given title, is known as an infamous hacker, doing whatever it takes to have things go his way. That being said, nothing would make him happier than getting some delicious pizza, and for free might I add! Living in his mother’s basement, his eyes in the sky and around town is his drone, making it where he sabotage from wherever. Given how he invested all of his money into DogeCoin, his greatest fear right now is paying for his food. He’s spontaneous. He’s full of himself! He’s Hungry!!!
EveryDay Place: His Mother’s House
Deep Desire: For everyone to fear his hacking skills.
Fears: Conforming to society, and paying for anything.
“Well well well, what have we here?”

Story Beats:
1. Ad for PepperTony's is seen on TV, causing The Knight to call for delivery.
2. The Tony-Tron heads out, surveyed by The Knight's drone before he begins to hack the mainframe.
3. Traffic lights turn red only for TT to ramp off cars, clearing the first trap.
4. Heating things up, The Knight hacks the GPS in TT to fall into a manhole, only to do some wicked half pipes before it actually saved him time!
5. With only a few blocks left, The Knight hacks into a Lessla Car, steering TT into a construction site only to get stuck in cement.
6. TT latches onto the drone as it tries to fly back to The Knight’s house, the tension building before he’s shot flying through the air, landing right in front of the lair of The Knight, his mothers house.
7. As The Knight is defeated, he gives TT a doge coin, mocking him before his mother comes in, giving TT cash and he speeds off.
8. Defeated, The Knight goes back to his lair, looking around and finding no drink, causing him to call PepperTony’s yet again.
Treatment:
We start on an ad playing on a CRT for PepperTony's Pizza, claiming the general idea that if they don't deliver in 30 minutes like their competition, it's free! With that, we see a dark looking shadow staring at the commercial, chuckling before he pulls out his flip phone. With that, Tony-Tron, or TT, is off on his grand adventure! Zooming by, we see a drone labled to belong to 'The Knight' matching the name of the order. He'll do whatever it takes to get a free meal, and that includes hacking... THE MAINFRAME!
Seeing TT close in on traffic lights, The Knight twiddles his fingers before making the lights go red, causing traffic to back up. But that's no problem with TT, vaulting around on the sidewalk and bouncing on cars before flying off of a ramp on a pick up truck, now one step closer. With that, The Knight ramps up the intensity, the GPS TT has been following giving him wrong directions, landing him inside of a manhole. But with enough quick thinking and momentum, the sewers become a half pipe, only to have the robot launch out from underground, racing against the clock now as there's only 2 minutes left.
Franticly hungry and low on cash, The Knight makes the ultimate move. Finding a Lessla car, he hacks into it and takes control, making TT swerve into a construction zone, only to end up in cement. With the sabotaging successful, the drone starts to head back in The Knight's direction, only for something to latch on. TT is holding onto it for dear life, the force building up more and more before finally, he is launched out of the cement, flying over buildings before landing in front of The Knight's hideout, that being his mother's house.
In just under 30 minutes, TT happily knocks on the door, only for us to finally see The Knight in his glory. Giving TT a doge coin, he attempts to close the door only for his mother to come into frame, resulting in him paying with cash. Defeated, he goes back to his lair, only to see he doesn't have a drink, causing him to call PepperTony's all over again.

Logline:
A delivery robot must deliver pizza in under 30 minutes, all while an infamous hacker is trying to sabotage how long it takes.
Theme:
Overall, the themes that I want to have are a reversal with Machine vs Man, and an emphasis on fast paced actions and comedic slapstick. With so many of us constantly pressed in time, I want to turn that urgency into a form of pacing to emphasize actions, along with showing how sometimes people will throw hurdles our way, only to overcome it. I also just want to have fun with expressions, seen by the hacker infamously known as ‘The Knight’. With more hackers and technology surrounding us daily, it’s about time to see the two clash, I’ll be it in a lighthearted way!
