Lucifer was sitting in his penthouse looking over the city when Chloe showed up with you. He wanted to know why you were here, but Chloe made a fast explanation and left you with the Devil.

Lucifer looked at you at you and saw that you had a cross.

“What religion are you from?”

“Catholic.” you said “Can I sit down? ”

“Sure.” Lucifer said, “Do you want a drink or are you anti-drinking?”

“No, some are but I’m not.” You said, “If you have stuff can you make a Bloody Mary?”

“Well, then not as pious as everyone will think you are.” Lucifer said with a smile as he started to make it, “So why did the great Detective Decker drop you off at Sin Bin?”

“My sister is trying to kill everyone she thinks cause the death of her daughter.”

“Are you at fault for her death?”

“She die of brain cancer, a few weeks ago.”

“Oh. . .”Lucifer said, “I’m sorry for your loss... .but why is she hunting you?”

“I took her out of my sister care because she had drug issues. I thought it was for the best and it started to work, that told the doctor found the tumor and told me she had days to live.” you started to play with the cross “She gives me this a few hours before she dies and told me that she will watch over me when she is in heaven.”

“So you believe in God and all his goodness?”

“I believe that there is a man upstairs and that there is a man downstairs but I have questions. Like if God is truly a loving and forgiving then why has He not invited Lucifer back? Hasn’t Lucifer suffer enough? I don’t know your religion, if you believe he fell from pride or from his hate of humans, God should forgive Lucifer but also apologize, he has been through literally and should not be caused out because he had an option.”

Lucifer looked at you with new wonder and awe.

“I think I am in love.” He said.

Forensic department, what can I do for you?” You said picking up the phone. You were covering for Ella who was sick.

“Hey, Y/N,” said Chloe who also sounded sick, “Is Ella in?”

“No, she is home with a sickness, which I hope you are too.”

“That is not what I want to hear.” she groaned.

“What is it?” you asked.

“Lucifer just called and said he found a lead and needs me to go in by I'm sick, Dan is sick and now so is Ella.”

“I can cover for you.” 

“Really? You want to hang out with Lucifer voluntarily?”

“It not a big deal,” you said with a smile.

“Okay,” Chloe said, “Just remember you wished for this.”

Lucifer sat wanting for Chloe to call him so he could meet her a LUX but nothing.

“There is a human in the club looking for you.” Mazikeen said as she sat on the couch next to Lucifer.

“Is it Chloe?”

“If it was Chloe don’t you think I would have told you or at least invite her up here?”

“Well, who?”

“Some lady saying she with the LAPD and Chloe sent her.”

Lucifer groaned and got up to face the mystery lady.

You sat at the piano and played with the keys. You friends always said you had the natural talent for the piano but it was surprising to everyone, you find yourselves love blood analysis rather than the Ivies. You played with keys and mummed the words that go with it.

You didn’t Lucifer come down or see his rage at the fact you were playing on his piano.

“What are you!” he snapped causing you to turn around.

“I’m Y/N, Chloe was out sick and so was Ella so I was sent to help you.”

Lucifer held his breath.

You were prettyish in Lucifer mind but decide on were a ripped jeans and a baggy sweater with a stan on it and to Lucifer surprise, you still look. . . .

“What?” you said. Lucifer was giving you the weird look.

“Why are you wearing that?” he said.

You looked down at your clothes.

“Because it was clean? Why did you think I was going to best nice the first time I meet you?”

Lucifer crossed his arms.

“We are investigating a serial killer that is one of the higher class elites of Los Angels, And we are going to the suspect house in 15 minutes. You can’t wear that!”

“Well if you told Chloe that I would have dress nicer,” you said rubbing your head and sighed. “Give me the address and I will me you there.”

“No!” Lucifer said “I can have you coming dress like that, or where you have at your house. Follow me!”

You followed Lucifer into and elevator.

Lucifer stood by the elevator waiting for you to be done with Mazikeen.

“Are you done yet!” He yelled.

“You live up to your name Lucifer!” you said stomping out. You were in a knee-length dress that was light a second skin on you with a lot of makeup on but you still looked like it was missing something.

“I have never been through that much torture in my life!” you said, “Can we go?”

Lucifer laughed and offer his hand, but even with all the makeup Mazikeen put on Lucifer that it didn’t look good. In fact, she looked worst but he couldn't wait any longer.

“Yes we can go but we are going to be 15 minutes late.”

Lucifer told you everything about the case on the car drive to the suspect’s estate which was on the outside of Los Angels.

“So stay close and pretend to be dumb,” he said as he parked the car.

You rolled your eyes and followed the Devil into the house and lost him within five seconds being in the house.

“Wonderful,” you said rolling your eyes.

“Campaign, ma’am?” a young looking maid said.

“Yes, please.” you said taking a glass “Thank you... .what is your name?’

“Melody”

“That is a very nice name.”

Melody smiled.

“Thank you, Miss.

“Call me Y/N,”

Melody smiled.

“Okay, Miss Y/N.”You sighed and then an idea hit you.

“How long have you worked here?”

Lucifer smiled as he flirted with the barters, then his phone when off. 

“One moment,” he said with a smile then answered his phone. “Hello”

“LUCIFER FREAKING MORNINGSTAR! WHERE IS Y/N!” yelled Chloe.

“With me. Why?”

“She just called me saying something about how she is trapped in the walls of the estate with the killer after her. So WHERE IS SHE!”

“Got to go, bye!” Lucifer said and hang up the phone. He got up and turned around and run into someone.

“I’m sorry.” said the lady and Lucifer was about to snap at her when he realized that the person he ran into was wearing Y/N’s dress.

It wasn’t a lookalike dress because she ripped in the car on the sleeve the way here.

He grabbed her arm and looked into her eyes.

“Where is Y/N!” he said.

“Who?” The lady said innocently.

Lucifer groaned at the lady and was just about to lost it when you showed up. The wall close to him swang open and you spin out of it. You were in a maids dress with spider webs in your hair but you looked beautiful for some unknown reason.

“LAPD! Everyone freeze!”

No one moved.

“I’m looking for a Ms. Melody Emerson!” You called out and the lady Lucifer was hold tried to pull free.

“I think I have!” Lucifer called out causing you to turn to him. 

He was right you were breathtakingly beautiful.

“Good work, Lucifer.”

“It turns out that Miss Meldoy was killing all of the female “friend” of Mr. Rider so she could get him out of the picture and be with Mrs. Rider.

Needless to say, her plan didn’t work out.” You explained to Chole who was sitting at a coffee shop.

“Really?”

“Yep,” you said with a smile.

“You know Lucifer can’t stop talking about you,” Chloe said with a smile.

“I doubt-” you said.

“Oh, you never know what turns on the devil.”

“I highly doubt it dusty spider web full hair.”

“Detective! Y/N!” Lucifer said walking in. “I have been looking for you.’

“What is it?” Chloe asked.

“Miss Y/N I was hoping you would like to come with me on a date next week Friday.”

You gagged on your drink.

“What?”

“Did you not hear me? I want to go on-”

“I heard I’m just thinking.”

“Will think faster!” he snapped which caused Chloe to roll her eyes.

“I guess I can-”

“Great see you at my place at six,” he said then left.

“So I guess the Devil is turned on by spider webs.”
