Haven’t seen anyone ship these two, and it’s a bit of a shame but I can get why people tend to ship these two with other characters-

Personally I like thinking that Harvey had become a lot more sensitive and quiet towards Murdoch, out of respect and to not anger him after that little snap that occurred in the sheds, along with Salty.

Things would start off slow, with Harvey admiring Murdoch’s strength as he loaded flatbeds and Murdoch quietly noticing how gentle and kind he is towards the others

Harvey would probably be the one to approach Murdoch most of the time, or be the one to spark a small conversation. Wanting to be helpful, he’d likely try to keep the others a little more quiet while Murdoch is around, as he’s very much aware of the big engine’s distaste for noise

Murdoch may or may not slowly open up to him more over time, going towards Harvey for quiet comfort and words of assurance. With how Harvey would be there for him a lot more, he’d feel a lot more at ease and may enjoy the company of others without as much pressure as before.

Murdoch would also likely offer some calm and grounding to Harvey’s eagerness to be helpful, letting him rest and reflect quietly as the big engine would ponder alongside him.

The affection would probably build up over time, with the two essentially having a slow-burn romance dynamic between eachother and ong I love the thought of this

Harvey wouldn’t force Murdoch to be more sociable, and Murdoch would appreciate him for who he is

Harvey would 100% get flustered for literally every little thing Murdoch has to say about him
