Translate to Kanji~
Hey hey~
Here’s a link to the more beginner level study group I’m leading: http://simp.ly/p/dCB077
Vocabulary Words: https://app.simplenote.com/p/j1dblB
So I figured, we could make use of this and translate the Vocabulary words into their Kanji counterparts!
Thoughts? Hopefully this is of interest~

A cute little way of remembering the days of the week along with their Kanji.
For me I just kinda look at it this way: Monday - When you’re looking forward to just the end of the day (moon) Tuesday - When things actually get started and the fire starts going (fire) Wednesday - Midpoint of the week when you start to want to cooldown (water) Thursday - When you’re daydreaming about the weekend (trees) Friday - When you go on a night out and/or its payday (gold) Saturday - When you’re catching up on sleep all day or outdoors (earth) Sunday - When you’re wanting the day to never end because you don’t want Monday to come (sun)

Particles 助詞
Refresher on the main ones and basic usage:
Particle は - pronounced “wah”: Indicates the current topic or subject of a statement or discussion. {subject} + は+ {content related to subject} Note that once the topic/subject is identified with this particle, it is not necessary to re-identify the subject if you’re still talking about it in the discussion due to mutual intelligibility.
Particle を - pronounced “oh”: Indicates an action/verb directly related to the object/noun. {object/noun} + を + {action/verb}
Particle の - pronounced “noh”: Used to connect two ideas together to emphasize their shared relationship. {specific detail about main idea} + の + {main idea}
Note that this inherently “fuses” the two ideas together and thus making it one idea that can then be treated as a single topic/subject. This also means you can use this particle multiple times!
Example: 私の車は。。。= “My car is...” 私の日本の車 = “My Japanese Car” -- string of ideas
Particle も - pronounced “moh”: Used to signify that a certain topic/subject also bears the same idea associated to the current topic/subject discussed. It is critical to understand that this means a prior stated idea must be present or understood. {other related subject} + も + {reiteration of prior content; though this can be omitted}
Example: 私はエンジニアです。= “I’m an engineer” ライトさんも。 = “Mr. Light is too”
Particle へ - pronounced “eh”: Used to state destination or direction of a specified action/movement.
Example: 今日教室へ行きません。 = "Today, I’m not going to (heading to) the classroom”
Particle で - pronounced “deh”: Indicates environment/setting of the topic/subject currently being discussed.
Example: 今日は学校で勉強します。 = “Today, at school, I will study” (literal)
Particle に - pronounced “knee”: Indicates the time and/or destination of some action/verb. {time} + に + {action/verb} {destination} + に + {action/verb} {time} + (に, optional for emphasis) + {destination} + に + {action/verb}
Particle が - pronounced “gah”: Multi-usage particle, primarily used for emphasis and juxtaposition. - Expression of desire or emotion towards subject/topic Example: 私は猫が好きです。 = “I like cats” ケーキが欲しいです。 = “I want cake” - Direct Equivalence to something Example: これが車 = “That is indeed a car” - Importance Example: 坂本さんが学校に行きます。 = “Sakamoto is the one who went to school” - Contrasting (”but”) Example: お菓子は食べますが、甘草は食べません。 = “I eat sweets, but not licorice” - Questioning (following question-words) In general, question-words are not followed by particle は which makes sense since emphasis on an unknown or questioned subject is necessary. Example: だれがきますか。 = “Who is coming?”
So that’s all for now, it’s just basic stuff but I figured it’d be a good thing to post since it’s all fundamental building blocks :)
